I don't like Coach Lee's small thinking in reference to his players, this might be an insight in to why the better player is not on the field or recruited players are not living up to their billing. COACH LEE, GEORGE HINES IS A WALK-ON!!!!

COACH LEE, GEORGE HINES IS A WALK-ON!!!! True, he is talking about his own starting QB, LOL. We talk all the time about the 44 scholarships, but what were the practice time restrictions they had to adhere to?

I've got a $100 dollar bill that says i can pull five Div1 caliber players off this campus who didn't get a scholly because of politics are some other ineptness on behalf of their High School. Players who would join and turn around this team. But Why would they after reading the stupidity that was quoted in the N&R . Anyone in recruiting knows that most scholly's are gained thru High School coaches knowledge of recruting processes or politics. If I could get five power walk-on players then my 44 scholarships would be a non factor!! Right now George Hines would be my poster boy, CALLING ALL FORMER HIGH SCHOOL FOOTBALL PLAYERS WHO FELT YOU SHOULD HAVE RECEIVED A SCHOLARSHIP TO PLAY! SIGN-UP AND LINE-UP!
THIS IS CALLED MANAGEMENT!!

I didn't see anything wrong with the article. I've read much worse in this forum.

There was a question sometime ago about how the n&r reports the A&T attendance, i.e. the actual attendance and the seating capacity in brackets. I have subscribed to the n&r for years and years and they don't do that for other schools. I don't know why it is done and would not speculate, but it stands out if you examine other school's box scores.

Would you rather them just not report the truth? Our attendance is way down this year, and that's just a simple fact.

Would you rather them just not report the truth? Our attendance is way down this year, and that's just a simple fact. Every school (most) reported about do not have a sell out crowds. On Sundays the paper is full of stories on games in and out of this area. The truth obviously has nothing to do with the reporting on the game. That notation on stadium capacity only appears with the A&T report. That's a distinct difference, but it does not bother most here because we have become accustomed to difference in reporting.

That is sent in by the statistician. The newspaper only print what is sent in. They don't add that into the stats. You know sometimes it concerns me about how we blame others for what we do. If we would show up for the games it would be an asset because it would show even when the team is down we support them. Just a thought.

So that is something that A&T's statitician has been sending in to the n&r after each home game? Very interesting news. I've dealt with and read the n&r long enough to know when to assign blame to them for how they present the school and the community. But that's not an arguement that we should even entertain.

Or we could stay home and show that we aren't going to support a sub-par product. If a restaurant's food isn't good, I'm not going to keep going to eat there.

True that, but if you have invested in the restaurant;are you going to stop supporting it?That may be the problem we may not have the volumn of invested people we need to field an on- par product. Just a thought.
