The Greensboro media should be ashamed of themselves. Everybody in that room was acting all shook when it was time to ask some real questions.
All Martin basically did was read off a prepared statement. Even when he answered my question.
Well, at least I was able to get him to acknowledge that our record of hiring/firing ADs has been a complete travesty.

Damn. I my next question was gonna be about the status of Darryl Hill, our current compliance director who was appointed by Wheeler. I have a feeling that the NCAA's investigation / recertification process will take care of that. So Space retires in December. That's Indoor Track Season. And I am sure we will have a plethera of track meets this summer as always. With the disruption in leadership in the athletics department, who will oversee that search for Space's replacement, and how long will that take? Someone needs to be planning these track meets and coaching the track team.

This might get messy. The University might not want to pay him and he might take the University to court for the balance of his contract.
The University might not pay him because he violated University and NCAA policy.
I hope things go smoothly.
