How do you think our postseason success will translate in recruiting?
Do you think this will give us access to top 100 players?

It can't hurt.
Bibbs already was bringing in major talent before this WNIT run.

I think the Miami game could be watershed type game. A win there would mean victories over TWO ACC teams this year. That is the kind of story that can go a long way in recruiting circles.

IMO, two wins in the WNIT will help recruiting more than going to the NCAA and playing the number one seed and losing.

this postseason performance just might give bibbs the leverage to bring in a monster recruiting class. don't be surprised come november she has her best class since coaching at a&t. and that says a lot considering the classes she's already brought in...

We just signed 4 high school players and the Oregon State transfer. We are losing five seniors.
I'm not sure how it works, but I would think that only leaves room for one or two more players next season. And at this point, wouldn't they have to be transfers?

And at this point, wouldn't they have to be transfers? in november we will be signing the class of "2011" to replace jee sams' graduating class, that's the class i'm referring to. not the class of 2010. bibbs will be recruiting the class of 2011 this summer (who are currently juniors in high school) and i would think that our postseason success this season will heavily influence some of this summer's recruits. i presume that coach bibbs is finished recruiting her 2010 class which includes the oregon state transfer and 4 high schoolers you referred to. but if reisha bullock will be ineligible next season, bibbs should have "at least" 3 or 4 schollies available for 2011 and probably 1 more (reisha bullock's) for 2010 if she chooses to use it... |

Some said Bulock was done but I thought she could take an academic redshirt being she did not play a game this year..

We need an experienced ball handler to complement Amber next season. I don't know much about the incoming freshman Mosley but I think she is more of a scorer than a true point.
We are losing Alford, Tweet and Bullock (I guess), so that means we don't currently have a ball handler on the roster who can come in and back up Calvin.
I would love to see us bring in a JUCO transfer who could instantly take over the point guard role and allow us to move AC to the 2 guard spot.

Refresh my memory but I thought she was honored with the seniors. However maybe if the redshirts is avaliable its up to Coach Bibbs and Reshida if she returns. Based on the academic issues I would guess thats she is not on target to graduate this year ??
Having her play sure would put me at ease regarding our guards next year.
