I don't think anyone is crapping on Lee, but you can just tell the difference between the two coaches and its like night and day. For 1, discipline is the most visible difference because, you are right, this is the same team we had last year or maybe less and to go dominate a team that has been beating us the last several years speaks volumes. Our football team were basically fighting among themselves during games last year, how do you expect to win when that's happening on your on sideline. There's no doubt Lee recruiting some good talent to A&T, but the majority of them never made the field and the ones that did NOT play up to full potential. Now on the flip side of that, Broadway will get every ounce of potential out of everyone on the football team. I can't speak on recruiting because, Broadway hasn't had a chance to do that yet...but based on what history tells us, we will be in GREAT shape in that area as well.

Oh yeah...it didn't help Lee's cause either by keeping an offensive coordinator that couldn't walk and chew hubba-bubba at the same time...(ie. see NCCU game).

Broadway came into A&T in the best of the worst situations.
If He Loses: Blame APR, lack of recruitment, "Lee's Boys" etc....
If He Wins: He is who we thought he was....
Im glad we got him and I hope that he can retire at A&T as AD.

aggiebred, broadway has already stated that a&t is his last stop as a football coach and knowing his background, i can believe that. he's a north carolina guy, his family is close by, and unless an in-state head coach offer from a bcs school comes along, i think broadway will be content with where he is now. as long as our admins don't screw things up, i think there's a good chance that broadway will retire as an aggie...

Administration and Alums screw things up! From with I no about Broadway ! He is not one to place Blame are make excuses about any situation that he is involved in. If we lose or win it's all Broadways way. THAT'S JUST THE TYPE OF PERSON HE IS!!

I have never bought into the notion that Lee was disadvantaged and had to learn while on the job. So did Broadway when he took over NCCU and he wasn't even the defensive coordinator but just the defensive line coach.
Although he and Bill Hayes had a cordial relationship they were not the best of buddies behind closed doors. Both of those arguments just don't hold water and is a weak excuse for not producing what what was needed to rebuild a down program.
What he did do was make Central a disciplined team with a aggressive attitude, and going a modest 4-7 his first year, then proceeded to crush everyone in his path over the next two years including some name SWAC and MEAC teams.
It was the culture that Broadway learned and developed his particular coaching style at UNC and Miami under some pretty decent head coaches and it has paid off for him so far. It seems now that some of that same culture is beginning to take a small root here as the season goes along.
Its a process but IMO it will take place sooner than later because there is support at A&T for what he attempting to do and respect for him as a very good head coach with a record of turning desperate situations into very enviable programs where ever he he had control of them.

This is a QUOTE: Broadway made at Grambling in 2010 :Quote from Broadway in 2010 : “I’m changing the way we play defense; we are going to be more aggressive. We are going to challenge people and not lay back and let people dictate to us…We can’t survive playing defense the way we played defense last year”, Broadway revealed. “We made some offensive changes that we think will help us. We have to learn how to manage the game better. We are going to have to be smarter coaches and coach a little better than we did last year and our players will have to play better than they did last year.” That is what he is bring to A&T
