That looks like a text-book cover two.

The QB should know the route each WR is running; afterall he called the play. Therefore, he should throw the ball at the receiver creates initial separation on his final break in the pattern. If properly done so, it would resulted in the ball being in the air at the time Brandmasta's first picture was taken. And in this case, the WR is the only one that could have gotten to the ball. This is just another example of a weakness in Miller's quarterbacking skills. He waits for the WR to be totally open before throwing the ball which often results in an interception or him running with ball as in this case.

I don't think it's a weakness. He's obviously out of the pocket because it broke-down. Therefore, what you are saying is correct, but not completely accurate when you look at the photo's. If the blocking would have held up then your right, but since it didn't, the qb had to improvise.
Since we have a weak OL, the patterns should be shorter and a TE is needed.

Damnit, your last sentence hit the nail on the head! We dont use our TE enough. When your line is bad you roll out AAAND use the hell out of your tight end. Bad O-line 1.0.1 P.S. That man is covered the entire time. There is no throw. Yall are doing a classic WR complaint. he didn't even see the CB near the sideline, so he assumed he was open and threw his hand up.
