I'm now watching the Howard/NCCU game, and Both teams are hitting hard; they know how to tackle!! Central ain't hitting that damn hard. Howard running through them, over them and under them. Don't know how Central ranked #7 and how they beat us.

OR HE DOESN'T KNOW HOW TO TACKLE!!!! Then why did Washington give him a scholarship 🤔. He knows how to tackle but plays like he is afraid to tackle 😆 🤣. Not knowing how to tackle or afraid to tackle, THE RESULT IS THE SAME! Missed tackle.

I have a prediction for you. The following players will enter the portal, and it won't necessarily "hurt" the Aggies: Yeager-Went from starter to 3rd string. He's outta here! K. White-He's 50/50. He'll compete hard in spring camp and fall camp, but if Brickhandler continues to progress, he's the starter. Not sure if White will accept that. Blizzard-He probably feels like he's WAAAAY better than the guys "ahead" of him and won't be content sitting behind christian, dixon, and graves. He's outta here! Andrew Brown-Depending on his progress post-surgery, I think he's listening to those "You're better than A&T" voices in his (& his parents) ear and jump to ECU/App/Charlotte/somewhere like that. More will follow. In terms of coaching changes, I don't see any. The OC's play calling was questioned by the announcers (Rhode Island's people), but I think he and Brown will bring in guys who'll fit into their scheme. In terms of off-season work, I'll continue to "harp" on the fact that we are LITTLE compared to our CAA opponents. LESS TIME fingerpainting with elementary school students, bowling excursions, and playing tug o' war at 4:30 am and GET IN THE WEIGHT ROOM & come up off some money and hire a legit strength and conditioning team-Coaches, nutritionists, etc. The question is: Do we have enough blood pressure and nerve medications to last us through the 1-10 season, off-season, and the '24 season? We won't be a contender until '25 at the earliest. Yeager-yes White- one more year Blizzard- one more year 33- one more year Brown- ?

Missed tackle. No the difference is trying and effort. I have had kids that would sacrifice their body before letting someone get past them because they had no idea how to properly tackle until they were shown. This individual is playing like he is afraid to tackle or sacrifice himself.

Aggie30: I had Moledor on my "outta here" list, but took him off because he & the other freshman LB (Iseah) will anchor the LB core & Brown, being an All Pro linebacker, will coach 'em up. But, I'll add: Jamison Warren, POSSIBLY Dixon (again, although he had NO takers last time), Wilds-Lawing, Veney, & Jailen Hicks. I can go a step further...Watch Johnson C. Smith, Fayetteville State, Winston, & NCCU benefit from the portal at our expense, especially JCSU. They're on the rise.

I believe the young linebackers can be good next year. (Need a DL). I totally agree with the weight room and nutrition part (100%) I believe Jalen Hicks has been hurt since the beginning of the season. We need some more receivers (Portal or JUCO).

Aggie 30: I can co-sign on Blizzard staying IF Dixon and Graves leave. I can't see him staying and STILL languishing BEHIND Christian, Graves, Dixon, and Keon Caudle, a kid who transferred in from NC State who is supposed to be like that.
I definitely see Yeager getting out of dodge. Hooker isn't going anywhere because he knows and accepts his role. It's going to be an interesting off-season with the portal declarations. What's messed up is that given our probable 1-10/2-9 season, will A&T be an attractive destination for quality transfers who can help us to improve rapidly?

Will we be attractive enough to get quality transfers. Brown and his guys will need to work some magic. It just bothers me that no one (players or coaches) came with Coach Brown from W&M. I am very optimistic about next year. Bringing in some of the right players will help us. The weight room will us. How much extra work will the guys put in to get better?

I wonder if Brown is going to keep that unreasonable 3.5 requirement for walk-ons. If a high school kid is on their board, but they've run out of scholarships and offer him a preferred walk-on, will he have to have that 3.5? He brought that William & Mary "Harvard of the South" thought process with him and it's safe to say that it didn't work out well.
We've GOT to address our small stature as a team-NOW. Former AND CURRENT players and their parents have talked openly about the university being too cheap to provide the programs with what they need to be competitive-a REAL strength and conditioning PROGRAM, complete with nutritionists and S&C staff members who can/will teach lifts for explosiveness and not bodybuilding. Our players across all sports just aren't very big. After the GHOE game, I ran across several players in the RV tailgate area, and I was shocked at how small they were!
I don't think there will be any movement or changes in the coaching staff, as Brown now has a complete recruiting season to bring in some guys. My prayer is that on his and his staff's way to Georgia and the 757, maybe, just maybe, a few kids in our backyard will get looked at and signed. A wise man once said that if you can recruit well and win the recruiting war in your backyard, you'll be successful. I hope Brown was present and paying attention when that lesson was taught in Head Coaching 101.

I am not sure how that works. Maybe he can help them get to places where they can play. That would free up some scholarships. I still believe we can win with some new dogs.
