Look we all know that the HBCU culture has never and I mean never been about the games on the field . I played at both and I saw the difference from day one at WT about the way PWI fans approach game day Homecoming or otherwise. It's about the game for them not the show in the stands, on campus or the band and dance team . It's no big deal. Also there has been a slow but steady decline in stadium attendance at all levels in college football and a lot has to do with media exposure being more wide spread. As a student said to me " coach why should I go to the game when I can lay up with my girl ( not going to say the rest)Blank and watch it on TV 🤔 . What I'm not in agreement with and I stated this a long time ago is " one day A&T is not going to have an HBCU on there schedule at all " but we covered that by following Hampton and holding on to the Central and a few others . Which was good thinking by the AD so all bases are covered 🤔 😉 😀.
This it doesn't feel the same Crap is BS . It's the same for the young Aggies and it's good for us old heads to remember how we use to be at that age 😆 and to see old friends that may or may not be around for the next GHOE. In saying that Hell it shouldn't feel the same because A&T has lost so many fine Gentlemen and Ladies over time ,we even lost the The Tree Of Knowlege 😆 . Nothing never stays or feels the same as you get older , the presentation ,parties and shows are where we old heads hang before and after the game . We had our time let the young people have theirs at and after the game if they decide to show up at the stadium or not . This entire conversation is off the rails I my opinion again my opinion 😆 SMIB RESPECT.

So we all had an amazing weekend? iiiight me too Outside of the game result absolutely. We just need to get this thing turned around ASAP on the field though. Unfortunately, IMO I'm not sure that it is going to be easy. This offseason will tell us what the next 3-5 years are going to be for us.

Yeah I think we can put this argument to bed. Homie had know real pulse or idea of what A&T games looked like pre Big South to now. It's always been about A&T, never about the opposition.

This is the point that if it can be driven home will do wonders for our GameDay atmosphere/experience. I've said a million times, we should nit need our opponent to fill our stadium. And I can't believe this but to borrow a Coach Brown (and really every athletic coach) quote but "ultimately it's about us/we/ours. This is the mentality and fervor we should approach every A&T athletic event with. Shoot my son and I are hopping on a bird to go see this first CAA win this weekend in Rhode Island, hope to see yall there, lol. If not we gone try and hold it down for the BDF.

GHOE crowd and vibe was on a different level this year proving this dude completely wrong, LOL We all know he's wrong and provided no data to back his claims. But because he taught at NCA&T he's above reproach to some. SMH

And for a reminder
A&T left the MEAC because (drumroll please)
ITS A POORLY RAN CONFERENCE. Was under Thomas and now under Stills.

We left the MEAC for the Big South primarily because of travel costs. Nobody from the university ever went on the record and said the MEAC was a poorly ran conference.

GHOE crowd and vibe was on a different level this year proving this dude completely wrong, LOL It just goes to show you that ghoe is bigger than the game itself there's no way we should have that kind of crowd where we are just one and eight and seemingly we will probably lose the rest of two games people just don't care nothing about the game because the brand has just taken it to the next level

Now I know u have sat in meetings over and over since 2015 and listen to Earl explain the bad of the MEAC. Again it's no need to kick em while their down on our way out. That's fans job. And we technically are still members. So ..... we play nice
