Translation of everything you just typed: "I know it was a lie and I am OK with being lied to because I support the lie." You need a better translator because that not what I said.

I also keep saying that you would’ve never publicly gotten the admin to say some of the reasons publicly because it would require them to publicly bash the leadership and the co-CEOs, effectively burning bridges and bashing HBCUS. That is called not being honest. That is like Colin Powel making a case in front of the UN to go to war against Iraq when he knew there were no weapons of mass destructions. There might have been some legitimate reason to go to war, but Iraq having weapons of mass destructions was not one of them. You are saying Hilton and company knew that the travel costs were not the main reason for moving away from the MEAC, yet that is the narrative they pushed to the general public. That is passive aggressive dishonesty. I know we are different, but I dont like when people look me in my face and lie to me like I am not intelligent. Some of yall chalk it up as just the price you for being a unwavering supporter of the university, but I am not a sheep. Earl Hilton did not have a problem publicly bashing the MEAC leadership when it came to the COVID issue. The only reason that N&R article was written is because Earl reached out to the reporter and wanted to get that narrative out there. He knew is was a bad look because he did not fight harder for the men's basketball program at the time and he wanted to save face. But you can't pick and chose when you want to hold people accountable and speak truthfully. Especially when it is only convenient for you personally. i made those very same points immediately after the announcement was first made publicly that a&t was leaving the meac...

Alot of us agreed that it was BS excuse and a lot disagreed. That was when the transparency conversation came into play. A lot of the same people that are voicing their opinion about this are the people that were taking the side with the move. Because I stated unequivocally that Martin was using Hilton and Athletics as his scapegoat cover in case things went South somewhere down the line. What are we even having this conversation again anyways? 😆

Monster - You FINALLY got something right! And, yeah, 2039 went too far. I know quite a few that don't like to party, attend games for the games, etc. Count me as one MOST of the time. I party before and/or after! 2039 should have said something like 'a lot', 'many', 'quite a few', etc. That way those that aren't just out to party won't get offended. #WordPoliceDat Glad you have embraced your title of Word Police. And he doesn't have to change his words for sensitive individuals that get offended because they don't understand what generalizations are when people speak. If that's the case you might as well take "Always" out of the dictionary. Those same people cant help themselves and have to correct people typos when they should know it was done by autocorrect or talk to text and they understood the sentenced typed anyway. SMH Glad I embraced it? Maybe you don't know I was the one that created it here. I didn't say 'have' to change it. I said 'should' And maybe you understanding of the proper and better way to use words is lacking. Probably not just maybe. Let me give you a way 'always' is a perfectly correct word to use: We ALWAYS won the CBs we participated in. So now you're trying to blame autocorrect or talk to text? And how should someone KNOW that either of those were the culprit? #DoBetter #Smh

The decision to move was logical and ambitious at the time. No one knew what would happen afterwards.

His introduction to HBCU life was as a visitor on tenure and his points should not even held water in a conversation. Because he stated himself that he was an outsider looking in as a professor at A&T. People need to stop taking everything and running with it when they read something.

Yeah I think we can put this argument to bed. Homie had know real pulse or idea of what A&T games looked like pre Big South to now. It's always been about A&T, never about the opposition. This is the point that if it can be driven home will do wonders for our GameDay atmosphere/experience. I've said a million times, we should not need our opponent to fill our stadium. And I can't believe this but to borrow a Coach Brown (and really every athletic coach) quote but "ultimately it's about us/we/ours. This is the mentality and fervor we should approach every A&T athletic event with.Shoot my son and I are hopping on a bird to go see this first CAA win this weekend in Rhode Island, hope to see yall there, lol. If not we gone try and hold it down for the BDF. I have been preaching this for DECADES now. We've got to concentrate on getting Aggie fans to come out to see the Aggies play and quit worrying about how many fans the other teams aren't bringing. I wouldn't want to have any tickets available to sell the opposing teams' fans.
Like I've said in the Attendance thread, we should have at least two games a season just like GHOE...our season opener, our home HBCU opponent and then Homecoming.

We have to realize that it is convenient for about 10,000 fans to come to A&T games. The rest come on special occasions.
