A number of things hurt, but that kickoff return was a killer.

Yes Central made a one-off appearance and lost to Gram, I meant a team that was winning or contending for national titles like we were (HBCU or NCAA titles). Fumbling that kind of momentum as a CFB program is insane no matter how you try to explain it. When is the last time Miami or Nebraska been relevant? What about Grambling? They’ve had some terrible seasons since their last CB appearance.

We need to stop all of these praises we are dishing out to our team, players, and coaches if it is not truly warranted. I did not watch the game so I am not in a position to critique others on what they observed. But what I can say is that these same type of comments were made when we beat Norfolk State. The offense is coming along, White looks good, defense is improving, and etc. Note to all that Norfolk State beat Hampton this year (31-23), we did not. So be honest as to how much improvement you truly see out there on the field and always consider the competition you played against.

Here's how I see it...when we're playing an equally less talented team, some of our players perform like FCS level players. Hay, we're just trying to find something to feel good about this team.

I did not watch the game so I am not in a position to critique others on what they observed. You could’ve stopped right there… Receivers were open and were making positive plays. We threw our first passing touchdown of the year and almost had 4 times as many passing yards as any other game this year. If that didn’t look better, what else would?

Not necessarily, Hampton has the 2nd worst defense in the CAA. Giving up 34 ppg. Did we exceed that? Shouldn't the receivers be wide open against such defense? Shouldn't White be able to complete a higher percentage of passes against an inferior competition? So did we truly play or get better or was it because Hampton was not that great of a competitor and we still lost. I hate that we lost the game, but I would like for us to be honest on whether we are improving or not these last few games where the competition is not as great as our earlier games in the season.

They should make a 40 for 40 about how hard we fell off, has any CFB program gone from the top to the basement as fast as we did in that stretch between our last CB bowl and now? Has any program fallen off this hard while seeing their arch-rival fill the void they left at the top of the mountain? Maybe SC State? Edit: I wouldn’t consider us SC State’s main rival but it was the closest example I could think of. CTA stop before you get started because you have no idea what you are talking about . Please stop ✋️

I hate that we lost the game, but I would like for us to be honest on whether we are improving or not these last few games where the competition is not as great as our earlier games in the season. Being honest . Hampton has always been hyper up when they play us and you can't just say it's just Hampton or say that about any team that you compete against. It's all about what your team dose when they go head to head with an an opponent. A good example was the celebration Bowl when SCSU drove Deion Sanders and Jackson State back to Jackson. It's all about what you do Head to Head. I keep telling people on here that " All A&T has to do is win the games on their schedule" all of this other who lost to who who beat who and who has the best stats who has or not has this and that, doesn't mean a hill of beans. The offense today showed promise but they must stick and execute better. Hampton didn't beat us we beat ourselves with dumb reads by the quarterback that went away from the system that moved him down field going for the big play. But that's a freshman mistake and I can live with that . Now we will see if White has learned from his mistakes it seemed that way until that one pass but he is just a freshman trying to do to much when he doesn't have to . But I have seen better execution in the play calling Better Effort by the receivers but the O line is still a little inconsistent but overall outside of the stupid mistakes I see promise and one game it'll all come together. I don't know if Graves got dinged up or not but we sure needed him with Christian out there at the same time Graves gives you that inside punch and off of play action with Christian running a wheel route and one on one with a LB is any easy TD . You could see Hamptons shift their defense when number 1 and number 18 were lined up on the same side we didn't take advantage of that with the back swing out on the opposite side or the TE releasing slow after the Back has cleared the DB out making him choose to release the Back for the TE or stay with him and let the TE run . But I saw a great improvement but White has to use the system to his advantage and not make dad decisions. But over all it was a good day in Aggie Land .

Like I've been saying all year, I could care less about being last in offensive passing yards. The only thing I want to see our team do is play a clean game. You can have all the passing yards you want. Ill take a team that doesn't beat themselves over any major stat lines everytime. 200 passing yards obviously doesn't guarantee a win (although it bodes well for the future). Protecting the football, minimizing penalties, sticking to your assignment does.

For someone who admitted they didn't watch the game, you are in no position to tell other supporters to temper any positives. Its like being a critic to only headlines with no real insight. The offense did make strides. And with so many fans complaining about us not being able to pass over 100 yds in a game, going over 200 yds is a step in a better direction.

We only gave up 1 sack today. I think that is 3 games in a row. We only sacked their QB 1 time as well. I know our best defensive player hurt himself during the game, but did not know if he ever returned.

The first sentence in my post stated "if not truly warranted". If you think it is warranted then fine. I said that I can't make that call. You or others will need to decide. Reread. We agree on that point. I only ask that you be honest with your observations.

I know our best defensive player hurt himself during the game, but did not know if he ever returned. They just wore down our defensive front and there O linemen were getting to 2nd level walling off out defenders. 1 player wouldn't have made a difference .
