We have a good enough team to contend for the conference but, two things we can't have are: Turnovers and Missed Free throws. That's why we had to play an extra stanza tonight.

We played well in the first half with energy and zest. We even played good defense.
The second half their press got us out of sync. We had a 20 point lead and it dwindle down because of poor defense and horrible free throw shooting. I mean horrible.
When we had that big lead and they began to chop away at it our coach did not call a timeout to get the team settled. We were out of sync and handling the ball badly.
However, I like the run and gun style that we played. Our man Lyons did not play and we still won.
They should be practicing shooting free throws for the next 48. Damn shame. We should have won by 20.
We gone be alright though. MEAC lookout.

Did you forget the first half? Indeed. They played excellent defense in the first half. The second half, the team forgot, how to pass the ball, play solid defense, SHOOT FREE THROWS, when to take a good shot, and how to force the other team to make the clock work against them by use of pressure. A&T needs 2-3 more good bigs who are at least 6'8" or bigger that have good defensive and offensive skills. Continue rolling my Aggie friends. Make us prouder.

I didn't see it. But dang, are we scoring darn near 100 points nowadays? Is everybody playing on the bench or something? Wow!

Couldn't understand why there was no big at half court during the press. It is such an easy out and a far easier pass than some of the 3/4 court passes that were attempted. Control is the key word here , especially with a 20pt lead. Totally agree about foul shot practice. Told Harry the team need to do it in their sleep as well.

And we have got to get better leadership from Langley. His turnovers and missed free throws are what fueled FAMU's comeback.

The good news: Both full games from last night are on the website for replay. So we can analyze all we want with the actual footage.

Think about how we allowed a second half lead to get away from us. Or how we finished the game with one big man and four near midgets (5'10" through 6'4") playing well enough to keep FAMU at bay to win the game. Last night's game was exciting. Those of you who didn't show, missed a real treat. Don't care what the pseudo experts say. From the experience of last night's game, that group surely knows what weaknesses they need to concentrate on. They will win some and lose some. Granted the team will infuriate you, but they showed heart last night. That alone will make you stand and cheer. Hopefully, they will clean up some of their glaring short comings going forward.

Think it's interesting, a bunch of guys with UNCG athletic sweats are sitting in the stands. Guess they had some time off. That was the Langley twins, their older brother KJ and a couple of others.
