"Passing Defense 208 ypg: 43rd in the nation; 4th in the conference"... this worries me! We've moved up in the conference but we get exposed against a good passing QB! If we can contain SC State's passing game we have a chance to beat them. If our DBs continue to play soft and allow their receivers to catch every pass, it will be a long day.

We always ain't great at pass defense. What worries me is turnover margin and special teams. We're taking care of the ball but we're not getting a lot of takeaways. And nothing's really popped on returns. On the bright side we haven't killed ourselves turning the ball over on returns either. I'm confused by the following: After Week 9Rushing Defense 84.6 ypg: 7th in the nation; 1st in the conferenceThis game is only for grown men. Our conference only stats are very similar to SCSU. The offensive line has their work cut out for them. SCSU is only giving up 56 yards a game on the ground. If they giving up 30 yards less per game, how we number one in the conference in rushing defense?

Duh, it says "conference only stats" right in the post.
I guess barring injury Maine's gonna get more than 10 carries this week. He's currently second in the nation in tds and yards and he's done it in one less game and a whole lot less carries.

we're not getting any "game changing" returns this year. those long returns we used to get used to "spark" the team, i really miss that aspect of our game. the gardins and wilson's of the world have spoiled me...

Kick Return yardage is low over all with the new rule changes , You will come out better on kickoffs if you let it go into the end zone or fair catch in side the 25 then taking a chance on a return . A lot of teams short kick there kickoffs or line drive there kicks so that they can force a return .

The new rule sucks. How many injuries are caused by blind side Blocks above the waist from the side? None. There were already rules for blocks in the back and below the waist.
