Good move. Forecasted to be raining really heavy in Greensboro for at least the next four days.

Glad. My son had his last final friday. We were gonna go to Gardner Webb Camp that day but imma do ours instead. Hopefully we get to start having multiple 1 day camps like some other schools I agree, but first we need to start having div2 schools join our prospect camp like the FBS programs have some FCS coaches at theirs. No reason Fayetteville state, St Aug, Shaw or even WSSU should not be at our camp. Thats another improvement point I want to add to the list. I brought my son last season because he was a rising freshman and exposure wasn't really a big deal yet and even as a rising soph it's still not. Offers as sophs are very rare , so we were doing it right now to get a "primer" to the bigger camp environments. Plus i love A&T. But next summer if the option is a look from A&T staff vs a look from 3-4 schools from multiple levels at another camp on the same day.....Guess where we'll be? I love my school and it would be a dream offer, but that doesn't always happen. Gotta be smart.

wow! they have a camp for "junior college" athletes? hey, and why not? its a good way to take a first hand look at some "junior college" prospects who might be able to help your squad. i ain't mad at 'em, i think the more camps the better...

The people were fired for misappropriation of funds or using unauthorized funds to pay bills of the athletic department.

Several fcs programs have multiple camps. Elon and Campbell have multiple dates. Duke have regular camps and then have position camps. NC State has several. We one of the few that only have a 1 day camp all summer. On top of that a it's only 2 hours. Dukes DB camp is all day with classroom teaching. 9-12, lunch, and the 1-4.
Not sure why we choose to only do 1. Is it a grass facilities thing? Do we host too many summer track meets to have frre dates? Both maybe.

I think that was the point most of us were making. Well at least I was. Having 4 camps dates doesn't guarantee anything BUT $10,000 a pop. You either want that money or you don't. I dont think we can host 4 camps because we have grass. The weather would mess up at least 2 of those. But, as I stated last week. Duke's DB camp was today and I said I would share my thoughts and comparisons. It's an all day camp vs a 2-3 hour camp. The coolest thing I think they did at the camp was record the first half and after lunch they spent 1hr showing the campers all the mistakes they made in the film room and giving pointers to get better. Then they went back out and repeated the drills again(about half the time as first) to let the kids correct their mistakes from the morning. That was awesome to me. About 60some DBs total and about even as far as the classes. About 15 rising sophs, juniors, and seniors each. With about 3-4 rising freshmen.

Camp is Saturday and for some reason registration is at 10am. Which means camp won't start until 10:30am at the earliest, maybe even 11am. It's suppose to be 98 degrees all week and Saturday. Every other camp this Saturday starts at 9am to beat the heat. Kind of disappointed in the lack of planning here. Do they even know that high schoolers are normally off the field by 10am this time of year. I would hate to be that parent that complains about this, but this is kind of irresponsible. No, not kind of. It is.
