Man, we stink up our last two games and the buzz for our basketball team just died. Do I need to remind you guys how bad we "use to be?" So we aren't going to go undefeated in the MEAC this season- so what? We still have a much better team that we've had in the past and they still have "Aggies" on the front of their game jerseys. So who's joining me tomorrow for the start of our next winning streak?

i'm still hanging tough with the guys! but its been quiet this week because we haven't played any more games since monday night. both of this weekend's games are "must win" games! because we've already beaten umes and dsu "on the road". so if we lose to either one of them (or God forbid both) in "clubcorbett", it will be devastating to our psychy and our standing in the meac.
hey, we're only 2 games out of first place and a half game out of 2nd place. so our season is still very much alive. plus, norfolk travels to bcu and famu this weekend minus a couple of their players due to suspensions for the scuffle that broke out in their game against howard. which is another reason why beating umes & dsu this weekend is so important. we play howard next weekend in dc and i will be there. we need momentum going into the burr because i'm sure the bison will be very motivated to beat us. we'll make it much harder for ourselves if we don't get back on track this weekend...

We really didn't get a favorable schedule draw to start MEAC play, so going 6-2 was a good thing. If we can go 6-2 over the last stretch with a win over NCCU in the finale, we're in a good spot heading into MEAC play. Saturday's a big game because it's the next game.

yeah, i agree with durham. national signing day did kinda overshadow basketball this week. but i'm still very supportive of women's and men's basketball now that signing day has come and gone.
hope we have a good crowd turnout this weekend, even though umes and dsu are hard sells...

I refuse to care about A&T women's basketball until the coaching staff takes the non-conference schedule more seriously.
I will be in Corbett tomorrow for the men's game, probably with my 2 boys.

A Meac Championship is the goal, it will always provide post season play against OOC teams right as we're peaking. Yes, we lost some head scratchers but so did the football team and mens bball team. The Ladies should be treated better than that.

Sorry, but I am not going to get emotionally invested in a program that is only concerned with winning the second worst conference in the nation.
I value my time and money, and I will always hold my alma mater to the highest of standards.

What makes the women different from other teams? Honestly asking. Not trying to argue. Why are they a waste of time, but not others? What is the standard if winning championships and having the success they’ve had isn’t.

The other teams actually care about trying their best against everyone on the schedule; not just teams in this conference.
They dont sleepwalk through the first two months of the season and then start to get serious once MEAC play begins.
That's a defeatist mentality and it will not be awarded with my support.

Okay. Seems like there’s more into this just having read some comments. That seems more like an assumption that the team doesn’t care, but others do. Why do you support the men more then the women and over the years the women have done better in and out of conference? Pretty strong words. They’ve had success. Just wanted to know.
