I think the media is disrespecting A&T. Multiple outlets, including Football Gameplan and HBCU Gameday are picking Alcorn over A&T. SMH... Thats old news you did hear Jay Walker in the swac championship game had Alcorn St rank over us in his top five. Even had the nerve to put Bowie State rank #4 Boy bye. What i found that interesting black media has rank Alcorn over us. But if you look at the white media who weigh in on the FCS ranking they tend to have A&T over Alcorn State.

I'll say what I always say...screw the ranking, let's play ball. By 5:00 pm on this Saturday, everyone will know who's the better team.

CBS Sportsline has us favored by 8 points. If we control both lines of scrimmage, we will win this game.
Broadway: Bring your azz to Greensboro & meet us at the corner of Lindsay & Sullivan. Washington: Put the ball down & let's play.
Aggie Pride!

I'm not moved by who's picked to win. In a game of relatively equally matched opponents some people are going to pick one team and some people will pick the other team.
What does move me is back in 2004 we went to Alcorn to play the first half of a home-and-home series and we lost 16-13. They did not return the next year and to date they never fulfilled their obligation for a return trip to Greensboro. Therefore I hoped we would scalp their asses last time we played them and I hope we scalp them this time.

MB69– Do you know whether or not “A&T Four” has been trademarked?? Hopefully either the men and their families (or secondarily the Universiy) has, or can gain, legal control over both names. DOOMS might have a better slant on this, but if they gained legal rights to the name, “Greensboro Four,” they can keep it from being used.I honestly don't know if the term "A&T Four" has been trademarked but I don't think anybody but us old die-hard Aggies really even thinks about the name. And to be upfront with you, I get extremely upset when this event is called the "Greensboro Four"...like Greensboro did something heroic in 1960! Hell Greensboro and it's racist citizens were why these four brave Aggies had to protest. So why ignore the real heros and recognize the villains? Our history is always being hijacked by somebody and told from their perspective and not ours. Sorry I had to go on that rant but I love my university and I deeply value and respect all of the sacrifices and struggles we've had to endure just to survive these 127 years! Duly noted. I will start saying "A&T Four" from here on out ...

At first it was 4 negro students from North Carolina A&T this was what the Greensboro news reported . On campus at a rally someone yelled out Aggie Pride for the 4 the word spread as the Aggie/ A&T 4 . My sister was living in Holland Hall at that time . This is what she stated to me when I asked her about it over the phone today . She was active in the students movements back then .

That is something that should stand the test of time and passed on with in the Aggie Nation . Something's you should never take away from the Nation because it is part of your culture .
