Just saw that the snow is going to change our practice schedule. Washington wants to practice outside but if weather gets bad they've made arrangements to practice indoors at Proehlific park a local facility with two short fields. I hope they get a chance to practice there. The last time we had a weather interruption of or practice it showed and we lost!

Idk if you all remember but we practiced in the snow last year outside. Worrying about your family while practicing and practicing in the snow are two totally different things

Air Force Reserve Celebration Bowl: N.C. A&T vs. Alcorn State by the numbers It’s a matchup of top FCS teams on offense and defense North Carolina A&T and Alcorn State are both conference champions preparing to face each other in the Air Force Reserve Celebration Bowl on Saturday at the Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta. The N.C. A&T Aggies return after an unbeaten season in 2017, with upset wins over FBS opponent East Carolina and Jacksonville State this season en route to winning the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC). N.C. A&T (6-1 MEAC, 9-2 overall) was the game’s inaugural winner in 2015, when it defeated Alcorn State 41-34. The Braves (6-1 SWAC, 9-3 overall), winners of the Southwestern Athletic Conference (SWAC), return behind a high-powered offense led by quarterback Noah Johnson, the conference’s Offensive Player of the Year. The Aggies won in 2015 on a 73-yard touchdown run by Tarik Cohen with 4:17 left in the game, securing the first of N.C. A&T’s two Celebration Bowl titles. Here is how the teams compare by the numbers. ESPN Stats & Information provided data to give fans on both sides plenty to brag about before the game, which will be on ABC at noon Saturday. The Aggie Way MEAC champ N.C. A&T aims for another HBCU title Published Wednesday, December 5, 2018 12:09 am by Herbert L. White | The Charlotte Post A new coach produced similar results for North Carolina A&T football. Sam Washington led the Aggies to a fifth straight MEAC football title in his first year at the helm and the Celebration Bowl for the third time in the game’s four-year history. They’ll face SWAC champion Alcorn State Dec. 15 in Atlanta for the annual bowl season kickoff. The Aggies, 9-2, are No. 1 in the Box To Row coaches and media polls, while 8-3 Alcorn State is second. “We had a roller coaster season,” said Washington, who took over for Rod Broadway, who coached A&T to the school’s first 12-0 campaign before retiring. “We had some ups and downs. We started out on a very high note and were able to get two big wins very early and then we had a few injuries and a little bit of this and that and we had to regroup, so to speak.” A&T turned heads when they beat FCS power Jacksonville State and FCS East Carolina on the road to open the season 2-0, but talk of another unbeaten season ended with a one-point loss to Morgan State at home. The MEAC title was in doubt after a one-point home loss against to Florida A&M. Instead of sulking over what was lost, the Aggies focused on rebounding. “What I was most proud of was the way those kids stuck together and worked through those trying times,” Washington said. “They were determined to have a successful season, they fought for it and they earned it.” A&T responded with four straight wins to close the regular season, capped by a 45-0 pounding of rival North Carolina Central, while FAMU lost a pair down the stretch. Celebration Bowl: 3 questions Alcorn State must answer vs. North Carolina A&TAnthony McDougle, Mississippi Clarion Ledger Sports Published 6:29 p.m. CT Dec. 10, 2018
After a thrilling win over Southern University in the SWAC Championship, Alcorn State looks to cap a memorable season with a victory Saturday in the Celebration Bowl.
In order to accomplish that feat, the Braves (9-3, 6-1 SWAC East) will have to get past Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference champion North Carolina A&T in Atlanta's Mercedes-Benz Stadium.
It's Alcorn State's second trip to the bowl game. N.C. A&T defeated the Braves 41-34 in the inaugural Celebration Bowl in 2015. The Aggies (9-2, 6-1 MEAC) have won six of their last seven games and are highlighted by a defense that allows just 14.8 points per game. They are favored by 7.5 points over the Braves, as of Monday.
Here are three questions the Braves must answer against the Aggies if they hope to win their first Celebration Bowl...
