Unless there's a quick and drastic change in the forecast I'm going to sit this one out. No use driving almost 2 hours from Lake Wylie to sit in a thunderstorm.

Glad I was wrong. The first half was looking uglaaaay. That was part of the worse 6 quarters I've seen us play since the Fobbs Error. Im glad we worked out those kinks.

SCSU has 2900 students? Per the graphic during the broadcast. Wow! I thought that they were around 7 or 8K by now!

At one time a few years ago, I believe that it dipped to around 1,600 or so. In their peak years (late '80s to very early '90s), they were around 6,500.

I think the enrollment and financial issues are evident in the football program as they are restricted to recruiting the majority of their athletes from the state of South Carolina now. They should strongly consider D2.

I think this has more to do with coaching changes than the hurricane! Talent and muscle memory got us through the first three games. But when we came out flat against Morgan the coaching staff and the players struggled to find an answer. They never did. And last night we struggled in the first half until Cartwright decided he'd had enough. Now I hope our coaching staff figures out how to fix our internal issues and our lackluster play on the field.
