Please STOP with the nicknames. Take it back now! You just cost the kid a season, SMH.

Craig also got a chance to meet with junior wide receiver Ron Hunt after the Spring Game. This kid is another big-bodied receiver who is gonna terrorize smaller DB's this year.
Hard worker, great attitude and he loves contact.

Not sure anybody cares, but I went ahead and updated our spring roster based on what the SID sent out at the Spring Game last week. This should be the most accurate thing we have right now until they update it officially in the fall: bluedeathvalley.com/unofficial-2018-spring-roster/

Nope. I just included him because all the players said that was going to be his jersey number.

With the talented receivers we have on the squad "Big Baby Ray.......#7 might be able to get national recognition. I am sincerely hoping that the OL jells and can keep him up not down. Does anyone know why we have the drop off this coming year with the "big uglies" being mostly up and comers? Did we not have a good recruiting year for OL's year before last. I know injuries and transferees can hurt a team. Can anyone help me with this???

OL looked much better in the spring game. Rumors of their impending doom may have been exaggerated.

We won't have a 6-7 stretch Armstrong at LT this fall, but we will have 5 "stout" and powerful linemen with good feet starting this fall. From what I am seeing, all but one of our projected starters should be in the ball park of 6-3 - 6-4 and between 290 lbs - 310 lbs. We also have 3 transfers coming in and a Frosh coming in that is a big ugly. As long as they commit to our continually improving conditioning and nutrition program, they'll be more than prepared for Fall Camp. They'll also have to practice against our beastly defensive line all summer.

What three transfers? I know of ine FBS transfer and one FCS transfer... You had the number 1 offense against the 2 defense and vice versa today. The defense is ahead of the offense and rightfully so. What you saw today was an offense that is loaded with a lot of individual skill weapons with a lot more coming to campus this summer but they aren't a completely cohesive unit by good ways yet. With that being said, I was pleasantly surprised with the rebuilt o-line. They will be better drive blockers than last year's group so we should maintain our always strong running game. We're not a heavy as last season but we are much, much quicker especially at the guards. I feel good about the first five but I'll be even more comfortable about our depth when those 3 FBS transfers show up for summer school.
