He hasn't joined this team yet to my knowledge. Hester is expecting them join in drills come sunmer school. We had a number of our recruits in attendance including TeVaughn Higgins and the Williams brothers from Scotland County.

Defense, Solid Receivers On Display at Spring Game
Courtesy: NC A&T Sports Information Release: 04/08/2018GREENSBORO (April 8, 2018) – Weather cooperated for North Carolina A&T football on Sunday which has been far from a guaranteed this spring. Rain pushed back the annual Blue & Gold Spring Game at Aggie Stadium from its original Saturday, April 7 date to a sunny Sunday afternoon where the Aggies in Blue defeated the Aggies in Gold, 13-3. Unlike past springs, N.C. A&T’s Blue & Gold Spring Game will not culminate spring practice for the Aggies. N.C. A&T still has two of their allotted 15 spring practices remaining because inclement weather forced the Aggies to miss practices in March. “We’re not done yet,” said N.C. A&T first-year coach Sam Washington. “The two makeup practices will give us a chance to continue to work on some things we saw today that need a little more fine-tuning. We saw some things we liked, but you always want more. We have a long way to go before we’re a football that can go out there and compete for another title.” In past years, because of a lack of numbers, the spring game was simply offense vs. defense with the defense earning points for various things such as three-and-outs and interception returns for touchdowns. This year the Aggies, who are coming off a historic 12-0 season where they became the first Division I-HBCU program to go unbeaten and untied, had enough healthy bodies to split the team in two to play what was somewhat close to a regular game. Blue did play against Gold but there was also red and white involved. The quarterbacks wore red jerseys and alternated playing QB for each team. The Aggies offensive line and specialists wore white and alternated playing for each team. Sunday served as an opportunity for Aggie fans to see players in action that they normally don’t get to see. They also got a chance to see who is emerging as future standouts for the Aggies. Read more: www.ncataggies.com/ViewArticle.dbml?DB_OEM_ID=24500&ATCLID=211710010

I saw his speed rush beat our OTs on many occasions. I think he will meet Johnson at the QB A LOT next year. The DL is stacked!

N.C. A&T spring football focused on player developmentBy Jeff Mills jeff.mills@greensboro.com GREENSBORO — It doesn’t count. And yet, at the same time, it means the world when it comes to player development. N.C. A&T has two more spring football practices left, and the Aggies held their annual Blue and Gold Spring Game on a sunny Sunday afternoon on the chewed-up turf of Aggie Stadium. For the record, Blue defeated Gold 13-3 in a 90-play controlled scrimmage. Out on the field, wide receivers Zach Leslie and Ron Hunt, a junior from Southern Guilford, and running back Darius Graves, a redshirt sophomore from Dudley, looked good. So, too, did the first-team defense, including All-America cornerback Mac McCain, which pitched a shutout until Noel Ruiz kicked a short field goal on the last play of the day. But the game didn’t matter. Not one bit. The development, however, did matter. “It’s been a good spring,” quarterback Lamar Raynard said. “We’ve got new faces out here, new guys in some positions. They’ve been catching on well, and hopefully that can translate from now, through the summer and into the fall.” Raynard, the MEAC’s player of the year, leads a strong group of returning Aggies from a team that went 12-0 last season, the first MEAC team to finish unbeaten since the conference was born in 1971. “It’s a new season,” Raynard said. “Personally, I don’t feel any pressure at all. Yeah, we were 12-0. But I don’t look at it like that. Every week, I’m trying to go 1-0. You prepare for the next game, and that’s about it.” greensboro.com

Check out the focus and maturity of Elijah Bell. More than just a great athlete, he is a student of his craft. And you just know he is ready to go berserk this season:
