And Keyes was HUGE in this game. He gets all-due-credit from me!

The "Way" we won is impressive. We didn't lean on Femi in the 2nd half. Our outside game was coming alive. Then the slashers started coming alive. All against another league, and THIS early in the year!
Aggie Nation, can we get the band ( Aggie Nation Roadshow) back together! Edmead has that 'freak' in his game like Amber Calvin. 'We gon'a be starting something'!

HaaHa. Eastern Carolina? Buccaneers? Can't believe "they" are the ones being disrespected...and this is from the AP. www.foxsports.com/college-basketball/story/edmead-olujobi-lead-nc-a-t-over-e-carolina-87-81-112617AP Nov 26, 2017 at 6:54p ET GREENVILLE, N.C. (AP) Aaren Edmead scored 25 points, Femi Olujobi scored 23 points, including a go-ahead layup late, and NC A&T beat Eastern Carolina 87-81 on Sunday. Edmead passed out six assists, Olujobi grabbed nine rebounds, and Devonte Boykins added 13 points for the Aggies (5-1). Olujobi’s layup with 5:39 left to play put the Aggies up 71-69 for the game’s sixth lead change. The Buccaneers closed to 73-71 on a free throw by Isaac Fleming, but Edmead hit a 3, Olujobi added two free throws and a 3-point play, and the Aggies pulled ahead 83-76. Edmead scored the Aggies’ final four points.

I’m excited about our b-ball program to say the least. Whether we win 25 games or not this is a competitive team that team that can score the ball and beat a top 50 team if taken fir granted. We BEAT ECU with coaching, inside and outside play and savvy. It was easy for us to fold but we did not as with Jacksonville. What is the most points in a half for men’s basketball? Edmead has to be close to having broke the record if he did not break it.
At this point I’m expecting 10-12 Meac wins and we are not done with out of Conference just yet. Aggie Basketball is Back!!!

Tickets in Corbett are gonna start getting scarce. A week ago, I said it would be a shame if 3000 folks don't come out to see the team play.....I've ratcheted that number up even further. 4000 fans nightly (at least) need to be in Corbett. This team and staff have done virtually everything we've been begging for them to do for the past 20 years. They're doing it.....they deserve every ounce of support we can give 'em.
Fan Cam with the new scoreboard, new floor, new team that WINS, hood music blaring......IT'S OUR TIME AGGIES. IT'S OUR TIME!!!

Edmead is going to be a problem for folk. He turned it up in the 2nd half....Quick and poised And has some Reggie Miller "pest, and exaggeration " with His game. This is going to be a season of Swag! I can feel it.

This is reminding me of how my grad school alma mater Murray State had an amazing regular season in 2012. They ended up going 24-1 that season before the conference tournament.

Man...there is so much Payback to be carried out...smh. If these mature players can give the youth time to grow, and learn how to ball against ANYBODY, then we ( dare I say) may be set from here on out.

I'm happy for our basketball team. However I do wonder why iit took our university, with our basketball pedigree so long to be competitive again. I hope we continue to improve.

I'm happy for our basketball team. However I do wonder why iit took our university, with our basketball pedigree so long to be competitive again. I hope we continue to improve. The short answer... we finally made the fiscal investment necessary in the 21st century to attract better players, and we took the time to develop a younger coach into a better program manager.
