We've had a week off to prepare for Morgan tonight. Morgan was on TV last week; they were in Durham on Saturday - we should have had some very good scouting material for the game tonight.
I'll be there to support the team tonight (as always)......but if we get our heads beat in after having a week to prepare, it will just add more fuel to the fire. I just hope the team plays some inspired ball tonight.

Neborhoodsuperstar, you surprised me...you're still optimistic about this team. I think it's great that you still think this team has some fight left in them. I hoped the team used the time off to work on improving their jump shots. I cannot wait to get your evaluation later tonight. I'm sure it will be thrilling.

Coach Bozeman and Morgan looked just out of it against Hampton on TV two weeks ago. Though this team beat Norfolk also.

I'm not optimistic.....but I try my best to give someone every possible benefit of the doubt. I hate losing, especially as much and as badly as we have. Believe me, I do believe the writing is clearly on the wall, but I still want the team to show some remote sign that they haven't given up on the season. If we lose tonight, I'll try to talk to the A.D. about what he thinks about our the future....when it comes to Aggie athletics, he's usually very receptive to anyone talking to him.

Hampton offered a 2017 and a 2016 kid last summer. We have inroads with NCCU as well. I personally have spoken with Coach Corbett, since I knew him from when I coached against him in high school, and he has all of the names of our high school kids..We've had no contact with Coach Cy yet.

Good win against Morgan. Sad to say, it may have been our best win thus far this season.

Losing recuits to a school in SC that just became D1 a few yrs ago and has no history Agba is a 6'6" post player... he's solid... but I don't think he's more talented than the guys we are targeting... www.wfmynews2.com/story/sports/high-school/2014/09/22/greensboro-days-peter-agba-commits-to-play-at-akron/16070157/And we have 3 PGs on our roster now... if I'm the coaching staff, it wouldn't be an area of focus until next years coaching staff... so there probably wasn't a significant amount of time spent on Moore. I think we'll be pleased with our recruiting efforts if they stay on track.

If we don't recruit some players that can shoot, we will not win many games next year. Hey we're going to miss on some recruits. Even if we believe our program is better, our facilities are better and our school is better, we still will not get some players. And if we don't get those players it doesn't automatically mean we didn't do a good job recruiting them. Hey we're dealing with teenagers and their parents...who knows what's going through their heads.

And if we don't get those players it doesn't automatically mean we didn't do a good job recruiting them. Hey we're dealing with teenagers and their parents...who knows what's going through their heads. I posted these players only as examples of local players that are in our back yard that we didn't offer. I know High Point offered Agba, and they are a better team than us. I have watched us year after year, not recruit local players, who end up either sitting on the bench at high major programs, or being solid players on good team. Another kid, Ike Nwamu at Mercer, (who beat Duke last year) is from High Point. Went to Cleveland State and transferred to Mercer, who is now in the Southern Conference. If I was an AD, I would have 2 questions for my head coach. Of the kids that we signed, who else offered them? and Of the kids that we offered and didn't come, where did they go? From there, you will see what kind of players we are going after. I hate to be critical, but it's NO WAY we should be starting a walk-on PG at a Division 1 program. There are so many guards at the d2 level that have fallen through the cracks. Just go to Cy's alma mata, Catawba and take a look...
