I'm beginning to think ya'll may have got bamboozeled into snapping at each other over some gossip and a lot of vivid imagination. That may end up being true, but my points/concerns remain valid. You cannot truly be serious about winning in the FCS playoffs if you don't even submit a bid to host a home game. I'm sorry, but there is no way our AD squanders an opportunity to get our squad a home playoff game. Don't speak one way and let your actions contradict what you're saying..... If A&T goes 10-2 next year and we do nothing to secure a home game, I don't want to hear a peep from no one in the athletics department or on this board about how serious we are about the FCS playoffs. If we're too broke to afford a playoff game.....SAY IT. If A&T is too financially strapped to afford a home game, start making preparations now for the future. We've consistently gotten better each year......PLAN NOW FOR A HOME PLAYOFF GAME AT AGGIE STADIUM IN 2015... If we win the MEAC next year and I see our asses on the road vs an at-large team, I'm calling mofos out.... And by the way, I have talked to our AD on multiple occasions.... never once has he commented on our program being financially dire to pay for a home playoff game.....If someone has heard him say something to that effect, then feel free to elaborate. As far as I'm concerned, either submit a bid for a home playoff game when the opportunity presents itself or welcome the Heritage Bowl with open arms... If we win the MEAC next season, we will be playing against the SWAC in a Bowl Game in front of 1 million plus people watching the game from home on ESPN in December. There will be no more playoff for us unless our President and AD feel it is best to seek membership to another conference.

Supposedly they've run the numbers and the game is expected to get a good number of viewers and/or a good amount of commercial time.
As far as attendance at the actual game, the folks promoting this don't care so much.

Can we get some "official facts" before we start estimating the TV audience, appearance fees and game-day attendance of this "fictitious" game? I still have not seen anything from the AD, MEAC Headquarters or the Chancellor's office announcing this change. I love rumors as well as the next guy but on something this big, I want official verification.
So does anyone out there have more than just rumors or "he said she said" isht?

If we stay in the conference there's no point in even playing Elon & Coastal. We should most definitely add Winston back to the schedule. The argument for not playing them goes completely out the window. We should schedule them home and home.

If this comes to pass, I might reconsider scheduling the Lambs now, but there is still no way that I'm playing them home-and-home. They'll get a guarantee or maybe 35% of the gate every other year of the contract...but not home-and-home.

$1,000,000 per conference After the conference office get it's share. After the expenses of the conference winner, the share for the other teams will be? ? Of course if ESPN is picking up all expenses including the bands the other 11 schools will get more but Not very much as I see it. Of course it will be more than the playoffs. Give me the playoffs

Screw Liberty and the big South, AND screw the MEAC. We need to push the CAA for an invite.

I wouldn't necessarily consider Floyd Kerr to be a reliable source. He made the same exact proclamation back in 2010 with the same interviewer Carlos Brown. Why is he speaking on behalf of the conference instead of the commissioner?

Why should we stay in a conference that is going against a major philosophical ideology we have, which is staying in the current playoff structure. If we are this strongly against the game, let's put more money towards athletics and bounce to the CAA?
