I went to Howard's homecoming game, the 100 did not perform to the home side. I do not think that will fly at Aggie Stadium. That is pathetic, arrogant and disrespectful! That's why NCCU was doing that crap...because Jorim Reid brought that mess with him from FAMU.

It pisses me off. We always perform to the home side.

If I am not mistaken, the FAMU DC Alumni Chapter chipped in to pay for the Marching 100 to perform in DC, and they had just as many "RATTLERS" as Bison in Greene, therefore, I see nothing wrong with performing for the "FANS" that footed the bill........................just my thoughts...................... AGGIE PRIDE!

I don't care what side they play to, as long as they are done in 10 minutes. We are the preeminent band now. They can stay in the stands or in the tailgate area for all I care.

F-ing A...I'm with you...they can play to the damn jumbotron as long as their azzes are off the field in8 to 9 mminutes so the BGMM can get their full show done!

Never was all that enthralled with the 100 even when they were in their heyday.

i do care if they perform to the visitors side no matter who paid for them to come to aggie stadium. it is totally "disrespectful" to the home audience to do that and as long as the good lawd allows me to breathe, i hope the hail that the bgmm "NEVER, EVER" turns their backs to the home crowd no matter where they perform! that's just "low class" ghetto behavior.
one of the "proudest" days of my life relative to the bgmm performing came a year after central disrespected our people and turned their backs to our home crowd. the bgmm didn't return the favor in durham, but instead they not only faced the home side, but they proceeded to turn central's little ole stadium out!! the bgmm was so good, even central's crowd had to applaud them!!
now, to me, that shows a great deal of "class"!! we could've easily turned our backs to central's home side cuz clearly we had almost as many aggies at the game as there were eagles, and hardly anybody would've blamed the bgmm for turning their backs had they done so. but no, we didn't do that and i've never been more proud of the bgmm for not doing that. instead, the bgmm was so good, they forced a "hostile" opponent to applaud their performance...

I don't care if I see them or not, we already have the best band in the land, and that's what I want to see. I do think that it is disrespectful to turn away and not play to the home side trying to project an image of strength or superiority or whatever. I've seen SCSU, and NCCU do it and in my mind that is reflection of poor leadership and show no class. Putting me in a state that it doesn't matter what they do on the field it won't be good.

That's going to be the issue... watch what I tell you!! Their current band director is a bit more respectful, but I've seen it a hundred times (no pun intended)!

When we played TSU during the playoff run, after halftime I walked to TSU's side in my band uniform, so many of their fans thanked me for the BGMM performing to the homeside. It means alot to fans.

One quick point about the band's today. ..FAMU band playes to the visitors side and I didn't care. They played so "average" that the home fans didn't care. Other than their raggedy fast march between songs their show was dull.
