I disagree with Jaffe! It's important to support progress (going from being non-competitive to competitive) when you don't have any clear cut guarantees coming in from anywhere, and just a bunch of rhetoric coming from folks on this board. . Being competitive doesn't cut it when we had the talent and experience to go at least .500 this year. Everyone in key positions had at least a year of on the field time and game experience prior to the season. No excuse to go 0-fer

So the solution is to bring a new guy in and risk losing players, have the ones left learn a new system that they're not able to master in the upcoming season, and be noncompetitive. We've been there and done that remember.
