This game was coming all season long. The offense in general, and the o-line in particular, is not good enough. It's been a great coaching job to get us this far.

The game of basketball has changed. Too bad A&T hasn't adjusted to the times. There was no earthly reason to hire a 60 yr old coach to rebuild our program. We should have assembled a young aggressive staff, that would have been appreciative of the opportunity, instead of getting a MEAC retread. I blame the AD for this one.. This isn't on the a.d. It's on the chancellor. Cy is his homeboy.

Thanks for taking the initiative. I wish that I was able to give more than the 100 bucks!

The 80 or 70% would go to the participating team... Exactly the 70 or 80 percent was in favor of the participating school.

Also participating school pays it's expenses.

This is what was announced at tonight's AAF meeting about the Celebration Bowl:
1. Participating school gets 200,000 in complimentary tickets. 2. The remaining payout is 800,000 in cash. 3. The conference is still deciding whether the 800,000 will be split 80/20 or 70/30 between participating school and the conference. 4. Six year commitment.

I'm surprised and disappointed by Hilton's quote.

Wow. Last year our offense had its moments under Bustle. I hope that we can upgrade the position.

If we stay in the conference there's no point in even playing Elon & Coastal. We should most definitely add Winston back to the schedule. The argument for not playing them goes completely out the window. We should schedule them home and home.

coach cy deserves at least one more year despite the naysayers on this message board. again, i don't think folk really look at the composition of our team in terms of experience. we are a predominantly freshman/sophomore oriented team, only 1 senior who doesn't play very much, and only 3 juniors (one is a walk-on). so from an experience point of view, our team is very young. yet, you look at the meac's top 3 teams right now (norfolk, nccu, hampton), their teams are led by juniors and seniors. its very naive to look at our roster without realizing how immature our team is. given that the bulk of our team are sophomores and that we've got some pretty decent d1 transfers who will be eligible next season, i think coach cy deserves another year to see this thing thru. wouldn't be fair to bring in another coach to take advantage of the building blocks coach cy has put in place after coach cy did all of the hard work to bring these guys in. given the youth of our team, i can see why we struggle so much. but next year the bulk of our team will be juniors and our best player will be a senior. again, juniors and seniors make a big difference in the meac. there are no freshman/sophomore dominant teams in the meac who are amongst the best in the conference... Our team is young in large part because of eligibility issues and transfers. Responsibility for both rests with the coach. This is going to get really bad. I haven't even been motivated to pick up my 4 season tickets from the ticket office.

Is Campbell even a D3? Schedule someone like ODU, RICHMOND, D1 HBCU, or even WSSU. Campbell is an FCS program. I'd love to see us step up and play someone from SoCon, OVC or CAA, but I hope that it would be a home-and-home contract. Campbell is a non-scholarship FCS program as is the other Pioneer League schools. They won't help our strength of schedule.

I hate it for Tarik. I know that he must be sick. However, he is without a doubt the MVP of this team. He's got the heart of a champion. He's going to do big things for the next two years.
