jazz... i know you have seen more meac games than i have since 2 meac schools are right there in your back yard... i know you have carefully looked at each teams situation for up & coming yrs.... one thing we don't know about meac teams is what do they have in the cubbard... one question we can ask & probably answer is... who's program is at the point ...where they don't recruit... they just reload... hampton... sc state... nobody... even though dsu is on the right track the jury is still out...
the coaches joe taylor has lost has hurt hampton... the same holds true for buddy pugh & alvin wyatt... it's hard to replace good asst. coaches & keep that train on the tracks.... just ask bobby bowden... joe paterno... or larry coker.... you don't have to go that far away from home... just ask chuck amato after he lost off. cord. norm chow... nc states offense is nowhere near potent....
i'm sure teams that are doing well now will have some fall off next season if the intangibles are not in place for them to continue to be successful.... morgan will be vulnerable since ely wasn't given a vote of confidence based of the extension on his contract.... the grandfather clause will no longer help wssu... norfolk will lose their qb & rb among others...
you are right on point about our coaching staff needing training... & needing it bad.... paterno sent his young staff to texas to learn some things.... maybe we can send our coaching staff to penn. st. to learn from a coaching legend... hell... joepa has forgotten more fotball than fobbs will ever know....
if our coaches get some needed tutelage during the off season... can bring in some seasoned veteran coaches to help with precision... & can recruit their asses off... 8-3... who knows... you might just be on to something....
aggie pride!!!
