I think I deserve credit for this kid's development.
Ever since I called him out after the Hampton, Sandman has been covering every receiver he lined up against like a cheap suit.
Part of the reason why Del State didn't attempt many passes yesterday is because Sandman had McBryde completely shut down.
Dude moves his hips very real well, which is the key for being a good corner. His coverage on deep routes is as good as I have seen in quite some time.

This was game number seven. Good young players should get better as the season progress. The big question is how is Shaheed learning his techniques that is making him better? Is Isahn doing it on his own by looking at Deon Sanders how-to dvds or is he being coached well?

He also has great hands...a talented kid!
