central is missing more free throws than us by my count. and central doesn't handle "pressure" very well as you can see they had at least "10" turnovers in the first half. that's a lot of turnovers for only one half.
coach cy has our guys playing the style of defense that i always felt was best suited for the personnel we have. we're pressuring central 3 quarters court or more, creating turnovers, and getting high percentage shots on the fast break off of most of those turnovers.
question is? whether we can sustain that same pressure for another 20 minutes. legs start to get heavy in the 2nd half when you tax your legs heavily in the first half. add to that, we played a game last night, central didn't. but we'll see if central is fresher than us in the 2nd half.
i'm sure coach cy is telling his guys, "we've been in this situation before". now we've got to closeout the 2nd half. we've got to win the 2nd half. hopefully our guys will be up to the task...

Ugly half of basketball. Both teams do not run,they like to walk it up. Boring style of basketball. A&T is alot quicker than NCCU but you will never see it because of their style of play.
