... per Coach Broadway at today's press conference.
Looks like he is fed up with Zach's continued inconsistency in place kicking and will only have him handle punts for the foreseeable future.
Also, I would not be surprised if Raper is out of the starting line up this week ... but Broadway didn't explicitly state that. He just mentioned the dropped touchdown passes.
BTW: Broadway did address the media and emphatically declared that in no way, shape or form does Zach's current struggles have anything to do with me. There is no Thrilla Kiss of Death.
Stay tuned for more info ....

From what I was told they are still thinking about using D. Graham some on offence.

This team is in deparate need of playmakers. It's up to the coaches to squeeze the best out of what we have. Deal with the hand we have and do what needs to be done. I'm supa glad Broadway is shaking it up because the offense ain't clicking and I hope he has shared this concern with his staff also (Pizzo, Wagner, & Gibbs).
I'm not gonna speak on how the "situation" set us back from a team concept of jelling. But good coaches find a way. Sometimes you can practice all the practice you want to but if your house ain't in order it's gonna fall.
Hope Zach takes his demotion as inspiration and anyone else also. We are not a very good football team right now and I hope "Big B" flips the script.
Hail, I might even be willing to serve as interim OC for a picture and autograph of each GD!!!

They better worry about the O line and spend less time tinkering with the kicker and running backs. Heck Jim Brown in his prime would have trouble gaining yardage behind our offensive line. As for Zach, at the start of the season I kept wondering how we got him from the other schools in our area...now I know. I think he will get better, just not this year. Man this season just went to hell didn't it? A few weeks ago we had hopes of rebuilding our once proud football team into a MEAC powerhouse and now we just want the season to end. We've got lots of new faces on the team and on the sideline but the same sorry results as the past 8 to 10 years. Please, please let the basketball programs (men & women) be decent this year. I cannot take another season of disappointment.

'" As for Zach, at the start of the season I kept wondering how we got him from the other schools in our area...now I know. Come on people!!! Kickers are just like any other players on the team. They need to be Coached. Now some of you will understand the importance of having a KICKING COACH on the staff. Zach will only get better when we get a coach that understands and can pin point his weaknesses. Until that happens A&T FG kicking will stay about the same. Also we got him because we recruited him. marchingband1969 the O-LINE IS and should be the focus as you stated.

WHERE DO YOU THINK THEY CAN FIND O-LINEMAN AT THIS POINT OF THE SEASON. THEY GOT INJURIES SO THEY ARE PLAYING BACK UPS. EVERY COACH IN THE MEAC IS WELL AWARE OF THAT. THE KICKER HAS NO CONFIDENCE AND HE LOOKED NERVOUS THE WHOLE GAME. HE IS A FRESHMAN GIVE HIM MORE TIME.

Broadway has gotten most other things that he has asked for his budget. We had one last year. Also, no one who watches us practice has commented on whether or not Pizzo is teaching proper foot work techinque in practice. I mean stopping the play and making corrections. That does not take long. It's not enough to just do it in the film room.

Man you need too let this PIZZO Thing go..lol My point is as bigpeete1 stated "THE KICKER HAS NO CONFIDENCE AND HE LOOKED NERVOUS THE WHOLE GAME. HE IS A FRESHMAN GIVE HIM MORE TIME" We need a Kicking coach are at lest and X kicker on staff. You can find someone to work with the Kickers for free. The kid only needs to be coached and worked with and you will see a big differences in his Kicking. I have never been a kicker but I did kick off in high school a few times..lol I could kick to the back of the End zone on kick offs. But kicking field goals is another animal. Only kickers can relate too another kicker. That is the loneliest job on a football team..lol If you make it your the hero if you miss it your the goat. Even if it was a game that should have been won by the Offense that couldn't put points on a team that we should have put 20 on. And some of you are talking about the KICKER. GET REAL GENTS GET REAL 8-)LOL

So, what great OC is going to come to A&T and replace a very good OC like Pizzo?
I feel strongly that there will be coaching changes but it will be due to coaches leaving on their own accord and not because they are forced out. I think 2 or 3 coaches will look for greener pastures of other football programs that have a better chance of winning.
If A&T's APR for school year 2010-2011 isn't 930 or above, I feel we will see some of the better coaches on Broadway's staff begin to walk, because the odds of this program winning a lot of games will be significantly lower due to continued penalties.
