Alonzo Lee used to make these things kinda entertaining. I haven't participated in one since he left.

I don't think Crosby is a walk-on. This is his second year as a starter.

I listened to Broadway and he attributed a lot of what happened against Morgan in the last half of the 4th quarter because of lack of scolly playas and fatigue.
May I ask why we were not getting positive results BEFORE the end of the game? We should have had a decent lead against a very average Morgan team who we routed last year in Baltimore.

I think what the deal is...Crosby is a strong safety. A strong safety is good against the run...the free safety is your better coverage guy...he's the guy that got hurt. I think his name is Isiah Martin...then his backup came in and got hurt too. The next guy was a walk-on.
Again, we are a decent team and should have beaten MSU soundly, but we aren't that good where we can make alot of mistakes and overcome them. We are not that good. We have to eliminate the errors and we'll be fine. The sky is not falling because of that loss. I hated to see us lose that way but, I still see us being a very tough out each week.

This next game is Broadway's litmus test.

So are you saying that the free safety was suppose to be the cover which is the walk on guy? Because clearly I saw cosby getting burnt on the pass.

I'm saying Crosby was back there but, he's not your guy you want out in coverage against a fast receiver. Crosby can cover your tight ends and runningbacks if need be...but a receiver will probably beat him most times. The reason he got burned was he got caught looking at the qb and thought the qb was going to run and he left his man.

I didn't see him on the play but, according to Broadway, when he came in the game that's when Morgan's tight end had his way with us. It seemed as though Crosby was in man coverage with that receiver and if so, I would think that was a busted coverage. I think they should have been in a cover three type zone. That receiver should have never been running free through Crosby's zone but, nonetheless, he was and Crosby was caught because he thought the qb was going to run.
