We are charging only $15 for general admission for WVSU and VUL. The rest of the home schedule goes up to $25.

WVSU was available and cheap. Was anybody else on the list? I'm not defending the scheduling per se, but I am acknowledging the fact that a lot more goes into getting an opponent to come to Aggie Stadium than just picking somebody off a list. Bingo...Money is always the key ...Did not have to spend much for these teams. The NC teams want more than what we payed these out of state schools. some of the schools on that list are not going to bring anybody to the game either

Nah, I bought 2 general admission tickets to the WVSU game ( that I didn't even use because of the rain ) and that cost me $50. Reserved seating for the WVSU game was $35, I believe. Kanye would say "that sh*t cray."

Not to mentions there are a few schools on that list A&T did not want any parts of until the team gets back to full strength. Maybe nicer weather will help.
Again, I dont mind 1 cupcake and maybe playing 2 was unavoidable this year. I just hope we dont do it again.

That big thunderstorm before kickoff was no joke. I expect to see about 11K this weekend with it being a lot cooler and no rain in the forecast.

Aggie Nation ain't naive Aggie One. 11,000 people to see us play VU-Lynchburg??? We got that number last year, because that was Broadway's first game as our HC. We should be happy if we get 8,000 to that game. Just like what used to happen when Eaves scheduled a bunch of scrubs for basketball (Jarvis Christian, Merchant Marines, etc.), you cannot expect for folks to spend hard earned money to watch a bunch of jive games simply because A&T is on the front of the jerseys. Aggie Pride runs deep, but it ain't foolish or naive.

Unless Frankie Beverly and Maze are doing a special postgame concert we will be lucky to get 5K.
I can't think of anybody in my immediate social circle who will pay $25 to see this game.

I'm a season holder but I don't care what anyone say $25 is to much to pay for a general admission seating once the conf. games start. That's why our tailgating will continue to look like a ghost town.

Duke and NCCU tickets are $20 general admission right now and they are having a hard time filling the stadium

Broadway and Hilton will learn. Playing these tired/uncompetitive games don't benefit the team, the fans, or the department pocketbook.

Tailgating in the front and back was skimp at best this weekend. Regardless of the rain. Still good to see some of the diehards though.

I know I complain on this site but you guys have got me beat! I don't know if these first two early game were schedule because A&T didn't want to pay much or if they were the only teams available and I really don't care. They're on the schedules so let's get a "W" and move on. With our NCAA restrictions we need all the "practice" time we can get. And if we can make a few bucks while we practice, so be it. Think of this like the "NFL pre-season games." I pay full price to see the Panther's pre-season games and it's crap.
Hey guys, we have had a crappy football product for nearly a decade. It's going to take some time to rebuild our brand so folks will fill Aggie Stadium for all home games. Plus you add the threat of rain and our folks just will not show up.
It will take some time to meet your expectations of a winning football team, champainship opponents, standing room only in Aggie Stadium, and a sold-out Fan Zone. Give Hilton and Broadway some more time and I think they will meet most of your expectations.

Some call it "complaining", but its just opinion. People are giving their opinions on something that they care about. "Complaining" is a negative word and I dont think thats what most people are doing in this situation. Most are just saying that they dont want to see those beatdowns more than once a year. Most understand the APR/Practice/rebuilding issues, but that doesn't stop people from saying what they think about playing 2 cupcakes. Its a message board. Thats what it is for.
A&T tends to squander opportunities and people just want to see them take advantage of whats out there to take advantage of. For example, why was the video feed free? I would have paid for it. Had plans to pay for it, but then get there and its wide open. I dont know how many people pay for games, but I get every stream for the games I miss. I'm sure others do as well. They probably looked at it as a promo/test for games to come, but it was also a missing few hundred bucks.
