He's the best that I have personally seen with my own eyes.
Better than Steve Shipp and even my man Doug Brown.
Actually Doug Brown might have been just as good, but he never had a decent quarterback throwing the ball to him.
Brandon Trusty was another good one who went under the radar because of the quarterback situation during his time here.

With the type of offense we ran under Hayes and lack of offense we've had ever since he left, it's a hard questoin to answer.
It's between him and Doug Brown for me.

Talent wise he's probably one of the top 10(since I started watching), but A&T was always tailback U until Hayes left, so that aint saying much.

Even though he was a tight end I thought Craig Thompson was the best receiver I've seen for A&T. I think Doug Brown could have been special if we had an offense that could have gotten the ball to him.

I need help Since Herb Harbison was a local boy (Shelby) and helped A&T win championships, I think he's one of the best. He reminds me of the Panther's Steve Smith. He was small, fast and would give up his body for the ball. I'm not sure what his final stats were but he was great in his day. Go Aggies!

I know most of you are talking about WRs in recent years, but back in "the day" it was Mel Phillips, Dickey Westmoreland and Ronald Francis. All of these guys played pro ball. Mel and Dickey both played DB in the NFL. They all played back in the early 60's. Back in the early 70's we had 3 very good WR's in Willie Wright, who played with the Oakland Raiders, Dexter Feaster and Bruce Black. All the other WR's that have been mention were also very good. W. Miles rate right up there with all of them.

Dexter Feaster was the best that I've seen or played with at A&T. Three time 1st team All-MEAC. The first from any MEAC school to accomplish that feat. Great combination of size and speed. But Wallace Miles would certainly be in my top seven or eight.

The unique thing about W. Miles is that he was a walk-on. He was not recruited.

I was too young then to really study their football skills then but they were great players at A&T. Thanks for reminding everyone that A&T has had great players over the years. Go Aggies!

for me, its not even close. at the time, elsworth turner was our qb and that was the last time that i can remember that a&t had a potent passing attack. ragsdale was also on that team and pee wee board. but dexter feaster to me was one of our all time best wr's, if not the best. i think he had a temporary stint in the nfl with the former baltimore colts, but he didn't last very long.
i agree with monster that basically over the years, a&t has been tailback u for the most part. but we haven't had a plethora of pocket passing qb's, so wr's weren't getting very many opportunities make catches in the past.
i think miles is a heck of a wr and has to be considered one of our all time best. i think he makes that game winning catch in the endzone against norfolk had he been on the receiving end...

Feaster was a bad boy and oleschool you are rite he got a dance with the Baltimore Colts. Miles is probably in the top ten overall and #1 among walk-ons. It is amazing that he didn't get a scholly out of high school!!!
Hey, what about one of the most athletic players to ever come to A&T? Darryl Cherry from the "Queen City" to be mentioned as a top flight receiver. Not the best but in the top ten. This brutha man was a 5 star athlete in 3 sports out of high school. Played football (he cud go get it, fast and built like a greek god) and basketball at "T" . Baseball, however, may have been his best sport.
In my most humble Aggie opinion I wud say, in no particular order these were our best pass catchers: Ron Francis, Phillips, Harbison, Feaster, Miles, Craig Thompson, Cherry, Westmoreland, you all pick 'em.
I will say that Francis and Thompson were in a class by themselves at tight end as receivers.

Rudy Artis was an exciting receiver with great hands, and very dependable.
Did Terry Bellamy play for the Aggies?
