When A&T had a good Marketing Director in place from 06 - 08, Corbett was rocking even during those games moved up by ESPNU.
We have to get another person in this position ASAP...

I agree 100% the director of Victory Club-Phil McAlpin is not getting the sufficient amount of results. Even w/merger w/Aggie Club I don't see it going to the level it should be. There should be drastic changes w/in sports marketing. We need some energetic MAJOR players doing their thing.

The atmosphere in Corbett appeared dull and sterile on national TV. There were plenty of spaces between people in the seats on the lower level. I thought ESPNU had turned down the crowd noise but that was not the case. The team is not sorry so that can’t be the reason for the sparse crowd. Perhaps a new arena IS needed to help inject excitement back into our basketball program. A new arena and an attitude change among the students. We can't play Central for every game. Aint nothing to do with Corbett. As someone stated before, during 05-08 corbett was rocking and the team was horrible. We just have to do a better marketing job.

I agree, we need better marketing, if i had the proper resources I would do it myself for a low price since I'm a current GCSTS student trying to get some experience..
and those top bleachers are the most uncomfortable bleachers i ever sat on. a softer seat with back support would be fine, my back and bottom was aching me when i left the game Monday night

Actual seats would be great.

Either Dooms, Decks or anyone else will correct me. The actual marketing position has been vacant since 09 after the lady that was hired after 'Thrilla's best friend Keith McCluney took another position.
