Good idea, but coaches and e-mail dont go together. Good luck with that one.

This aint 1987. If they aren't using email and text messaging they are way behind the 8 ball.

You will be surprised. They all got them, but never check em. Ones that do check them are just ahead of the game when compared to other coaches. Out of the several that I know only a few use e-mail on a regular basis.

Correct me if I'm wrong , but this seeme to be a questionaire for the kids or parents to complete; not the coaches.

I think he's referring to coaches receiving this information via email and not checking it in a timely manner. I would think that the coach's admin would handle these.

Dare we question their computer savvy? Dare we question their literacy? We all are aware that Athletics and Academia can sometime conflict with each other among very good athletes who eventually become coaches. Could we be insinuating that we have some dumb (unintelligent) guys in the front office at Strickland?

sammiz, Not saying that at all, but if you deal with coaches a lot you find that most are "old school". They like face to face meetings and telephone conversations. By nature they are in the weight room, on the field, or looking at video. None of which can be done while you are reading e-mail. I just hope Maxwell is right and an admin is getting these e-mails and not the coaches.
Some of the smartest people I know rarely use computers, so that's definitely NOT what I'm saying. In short, you cant check email if your rarely on a computer. And if someone post anything about a blackberry or phone I'm coming to your house and choke you out of frustration. LOL
