Derrick Chancellor, Transfer running back from Clemson, is the truth.
Herb Miller was the better quarterback today.
I wasn't sure if the injured player was Brandon Reinggold, #41. If so, I sure hope he has a speedy recovery.
We're still likely to have a rough season, but there were a few bright spots.

Better than expected - about 1,800 - full game report, personnel report and a exclusive one-on-one with coach Fobbs in a few hours.

There is NO WAY IN HELL there was 1800 people there, I was on the sideline with Curt Walls and me and him both were looking at the crowd, he said 400 I was like 600 TOPS, let's not fool ourselves...
Demerick is going to be good if he stays healthy, RB and WR are the strengths on offense, the line is still shaky at best though...
I think both the Clemson guys are going to have to get used to playing with guys who aren't as talented as them....
The defense obviously led the way, the offense was stagnant, the feeling on the sideline with the guys I talked to were HERB SHOULD BE THE MAN, some even went as far to say, your recievers can be good, your backs can be good but if you QB is sorry, the whole offense is sorry and most believe that Herb is the man in the huddle, in the locker room and everywhere else...
Funniest thing I heard all day: THIS AIN'T THE HOLLAND BOWL! (Yelled at a walk-on who played intramurals last year)

Over all I was impress with the whole team especially on defense. Our lever of intensity on Defense is higher. Our Defensive line has improve in size and pluging holes much quicker. Our Linebacker are much bigger and more effective running the 3-5-3 set . I had only one concern. I am trying not to say much until Aggie One expose his full game report.

the defense is much better right now than last years team. The O-LINE is weak the same guy from last year not holding blocks.Got to he game right after the player was hurt. Crowd about the 500-600 range.Again Fobbs football staff is weak did not look that organize on the sideline. Both the kids from CLEMSON are good

That was my biggest concern. The O-Line is not getting the job done. And because of that its really hard to give any credit to the D-Line.
Fobbs agreed during press and said most of those guys you see today may not be the starter by fall. He has sign some big guys to come in and help. One guy he sign last week is from Ole Miss. 6-7. Aggie One report should have more about the guys he has sign recently.

Trues, we both said there are going to be some benchwarmers coming out of that group this fall after what we saw in the scrimmage yesterday but I don't think they really believe a rookie can take their job. They better start watching the film.

i can't get enthused with what i saw sat. out-side of the punter.... we have an off. that was one of the worst in the nation... that can't move the ball on a def. that was one of the worst in the nation!!!
if miller is not the starting qb this fall it's not because campbell won the job... it's because the coaches gave him the job!! that sends a wrong message to those who are having to compete for a position...
the only way to truely evaluate what we have is to wait until we get hit in the mouth by someone else... until then it is what it is... the worst team in the nation trying to get better....

i can't get enthused with what i saw sat. out-side of the punter.... Then be enthusiastic about that and leave the rest alone. Hell, everybody knows all of that other stuff you said.

besides i don't think it's wrong of me for asking questions no one wants to answer or making statements no one wants to here... This thread is about impressions from the spring game. OK, so how did you get the impression from the game or Fobbs' comments that Campbell would start the season? How did the spring game change the last year's statistics? My problem is not you stating your opinion, it's the fact that much of it was negativity that had nothing to do with the game. After talking about the punting, you went on an unrelated rant about how bad the team was last year(which we know). On top of that your next post you talk about hiring and firing the coach, which also has nothing to do with the game. Get your demons out in a different thread!
