Against NCCU we had a premature snap by the center on a key 3rd down play. It appears that he couldnt hear the signals because the BGMM was playing! This simply makes no sense to me. Someone please explain why we do this?

Someone please explain why we do this? Uh because we can! lol but on the real, the band can only play in the stands when we have the ball. We are supposed to to be quiet when the QB is snapping the ball but sometimes we can be a little too loud. But the football team sucks anyway so hey I guess they need someone to blame their struggles on Oh well...

The band brings down the volume when the QB is under center, and brings it back up after the ball is snapped.
I dont think we can blame our miscues on the band. We had 10 penalties for 120 yards (Morgan didnt even have that many passing yards)

I don't think the band had anything to do with that snap. There were 3 bad snaps and the band was not playing on all of them. We just stunk up the place.

It could have been dead silent in that place and the mess up would have happened any way.
Hell the band was the bright spot on Saturday! GOOD JOB!

The band had nothing to do with that foolishness on the football field on Saturday. If it weren't for the band, the buzzards would've had a clean sweep.

Make no mistake, we would have lost regardless. The point is why are we choosing to break an NCAA rule by continuing to play after the teams break the huddle? And if we're determined to play then why not do it when our opponent has the ball? Makes no sense to me?

What are they gonna do this weekend when they have 60,000 fans in the dome in Indy on 3rd down? This aint tennis or golf!
Suck it up and work through it just like every FBS and NFL team does on a weekly basis.

And yeah...60k in the stands and the "Crat" is across the field blowing on us then what? Take the "L" like the football team. All other teams deal with it...why can't ours? We make excuses when there should be none. Again, what went on Saturday was absolutely horrible from a coaching standpoint...so you can do like Jamie Foxx and blame it on the alcohol if you want. Some of us don't want to face the butt naked truth...our coaching staff has blown the season.

The NCCU crowd around us was disgusted with their bands performance and really praised The BG Machine.

i may also point out that central's band was playing "at times" in the first half when our team had possession of the ball. but hey, the bands had very little if anything to do with the result on the football field. we're just a horrible football team right now...
