It is interesting that News & Record is very clearly running stories that are discussed on this board. I am 100% convienced the article I read online abourt Rickey Lewis was a direct result of alot of activity by us on the "Rickey Lewis should be QB thread"

coaches at a&t have always been told " too do more with less "...!!!!... now what does that mean... .... do more with less... bottom line... in athletics you have to fund the programs to "win it"... there is no way " to do more with less "... because when something bad happens... the coach is the one who will get rolled over...!!!!

If this is the case, why are we in division I? If this is the case, we would have difficulty at the division II level.

If this is the case, why are we in division I? because of the money to be made at the d-1 level... our mens bball team pays for itself... money generated from march madness pays schools for each program they field... the more athletic programs you have... the more money you receive... you don't have that at the d-2 level... our problem has been not having good CEOS... if i'm a good CEO which program am i going to take care of 1st... the one that is bringing in the revenue... why... ... because i want them to bring in more revenue... our men bball is the only program bringing in the revenue... but yet they are funded for last place... this logic makes no sense to me... but it explains why we have so many programs that struggle... flawed buisness plan... our leaders have waisted so much money on 1-aa football & they still haven't gotten it... there is no money in 1-aa football ... if they listen to the ncaa who is telling them to fund your mens bball team so you can " win it "... when our leaders fund the men to " win it "... then all of our programs will be in a lot better shape...

I think that Holloway, Wheeler and the new university spokeswoman need to come up with a crisis communication plan ... if they don't already have one. That would surely help us in the future. Looks like Martin is listening. Manage, in conjunction with the Associate Vice Chancellor for University Relations, highly sensitive cases that may threaten the university’s reputation, e.g. litigation. Ensure the university maintains relationship with key media outlets for purposes of managing the university’s reputation.
