Hahaha yeah the fans were very crazy, but I feel Norfolk had the overall best sound but A&T had the best song selections out of the 3. Norfolk played about 3-4 songs from last years band brawl and VSU played songs that Norfolk had already played at the brawl so that was already a Negative for them. VSU did surprise me though for their size. But this is just my opinion. I would say 1) NSU, 2) A&T, 3) VSU

I heard about the crowd and i am sure you saw a lot of crying about it on the 5thquarter. I think yall did a good job its a huge difference between us and the Legion. We have to really work on our sound and learn to play together as a unit. When is that going to happen?
Anyways more clips from A&T
GD was great on this it became to much when they went to the Michael Jackson song. The arrangement was awesome (I liked that behold lick) and the execution of the song was good with some minor issues. We are going to have to pray for that upper brass lol.

I liked it...what do you expect from NSU's crowd? They are gonna be biased no matter what. Our crowd is the only crowd that cheers harder for the other school's band than thier own. NSU's band knows that was cranking. Just like next week, no matter what NCCU does, their student section will be up and cheering for them.

You know I have such a bone to pick with GD. I mean really what was that routine?? How dare you ladies perform such a creative, technical, and classy routine like that, lol. I loved that routine because it was so out the box, yeah I saw alot of people on the 5th said it was too long and boring but to me it really showcased their versatility. They couldve went out there and p-popped and booty dropped for 3 min but they chose to perform and put on a great show!
I must say Hot Ice is getting back to that squad they used to be, they arent there yet. The moves were kinda repetitive i think I saw that drop and roll or booty drop and roll thing like 2 or 3 times. I understand the song was called Ride but it couldve been more, I did like the entrance though it's just they have done it before and so has like almost every other dance line and I was worried for everyone on the floor with all those fumes.
Essence of Troy hmmm well I expected more cus I have seen them better but it was ok I guess, I like the hair and outfits though!
Good show all in all, well from the clips I've seen. Any word if there will be an official DVD? SN: Did the 2008 Band Brawl DVD ever come out?

I found this floating around Youtube and a lot of people are commenting on this. Lets see what the blue death family think. We always like a good debate on things so here is another one.

I must be getting old...I thought I'd never hear myself say this but, HOT ICE was a little too gulley for me. Just too rounchie! The really thought they were Ciarra...but that's too much.

Its a great video but I don't understand why it shows Hot Ice's whole routine and only snippets of the other two dance squads

The clip showed enough of them all to me. It showed GD main routine the other part with the Michael song was to much for them to edit in, I guess.

Back in the day, I went to a block party at Smith Homes and the girls there were doing the same moves as Hot Ice.
