Homecoming is a reflection of the Student Body and Alumni, not the ideals of the Institution. I agree...which is exactly what Martin should have told the students who complained last year. But he didn't. And now he is faced with the problem of looking like a hypocrite.

But he didn't. And now he is faced with the problem of looking like a hypocrite. All things considered I will admit the legitimacy in Aggie 77's claim to hypocrisy. There is something to be said about the difference between hypocrisy and integrity. Chancellors make statements to ward off the media and to cool down situations so they can focus on the issue at hand and move forward. Call it what you want, but if that's the case hypocrisy would be a witch hunt for chancellors across the country. Maybe that's what we need.
