Any thoughts? Considering how Florida and App State run the spread and are both nationals champs is this the beginning of a new era in college football?

First, you need a coach who knows how to run it and can install in his program. Then you need athletes who can execute it.
I don't think we have either currently in place at A&T.

Hayes didn't get a fair shot at that. Didn't we get a new offensive co-ordinator right before the season started? I think if it was implemented in spring ball and we had all of training camp to work on it, it can be successfull.
Having said that, Fobbs runs alot of shotgun formations, QB draws himself. We just didn't execute that well, last year.

Most formations have a chance of being successful when you have really good offensive lineman. I believe that we have enough talent at the skilled positions (maybe not QB yet) to be successful if we get an OLine.
