CHAPEL HILL, N.C. --- North Carolina has submitted academic infractions regarding its football team to the NCAA, according to sources close to the situation. The University has announced a press conference Thursday for 7:30 p.m. Officials from North Carolina uncovered the academic issues in their own review, pertaining to a tutor, and self-reported the findings to the NCAA. northcarolina.scout.com/2/996024.html

That confirms to me that PWCs do dirt. I refuse to believe that HBCUs are the only schools that recruit athletes that don't make the grade. I for a fact, know that UNC has tutors running and chasing after athletes for signatures so they can turn in work for them. Our infrastructure doesn't allow us to pay tutors to complete assignments for our athletes. That may be a good thing. UNC is the only school...take a look at Florida State a couple of years back, when they caught about 10 football players cheating on an exam. Bottom line, they had the test before the professor gave it. I know misery loves company, but some kind of way, I don't feel so bad now. :-)

ohsixrain, the major pwc's invented dirt! its just that they're so sophisticated that they do a much better job concealing their dirt. carolina probably wouldn't have reported it had they not already been under investigation by the ncaa. i'd bet my house that this is not a new revelation in chapel hill...
