As I look through their online edition all I can say is that it's simply horrible. Almost no coverage of Aggie Sports. Well at least they're fair because there's very little coverage of area teams period. It appears they dedicate their college section almost exclusively to UNC and Duke. Someone please tell me the actual newspaper version is better.

Only slightly. But you hAve go to pages 3 and 4 for real sports.

i think unc-g gets better coverage than we do considering they don't have a football team. if their women's basketball team had accomplished what ours did last season, they would have had full coverage in the sports section...

They had some major staff cutbacks a few years ago (see Rob Daniels) and they have never recovered.

we only have two full time writers, three if you count Dustin Long but he only covers auto racing and three copy editors and our high school sports writer just leave this summer. there were seven copy editors when i first started. almost all the stories we have now come from off the wire unless jeff writes about it. i know it sucks but they working around it the best they can.

I feel ya dwight09. Social media is killin "real" media off. Newspapers need a new business model.... and fast. Hang in there.
