N.C. State coach Sidney Lowe announced Tuesday that guard Julius Mays and forward Josh Davis have decided to transfer.
Mays reached the decision a few weeks ago, Lowe said, but wanted to complete the semester at State before an announcement was made. In two seasons, Mays played in 58 games and started six. He averaged 4.7 points.
Davis played in 31 games as a freshman this past season, including a pair of ACC starts, but did not see action in the final five games. The Raleigh Athens Drive alumnus averaged 2.6 points and 1.7 rebounds per game.
Davis has not said where he will transfer, but the Dayton Daily News reported that Mays is headed to Wright State
