FAMU women's basketball loses Joyner to WSSUStephen Joyner is going back to his home state after helping guide the Florida A&M women's basketball team to the program's first 18-win season in more than 12 years. Winston Salem State University named Joyner its new women's basketball coach Tuesday. A native of Charlotte, N.C., Joyner will begin work next Tuesday. Terms of his contract are still being finalized, said Joyner, who could expect an agreement between three to four years. During his two seasons as one of LeDawn Gibson's two assistants, the Rattlers went 32-38. Joyner was hired at FAMU soon after Gibson took over the program two years ago. I guess Hayes hired him at FAMU and now he has hired him again at WSSU. I wonder how many times that has happen where the same coach is hired by the same AD at 2 different schools in the span of 3 years!!!!!
