Who's going? The men have really dug themselves into a hole. As it looks right now the men will be playing in the #8 vs. #9 game on Tuesday and if they win would play #1 seed Morgan State on Wednesday. Unless they win their final two games this is the likely scenario.
Howard vs. A&T - Tuesday A&T vs. MSU - Wed. A&T vs. BCU, NSU or Hampton - Friday A&T vs. ? -Saturday Championship
*Anything beyond Wed. will be gravy.
Here's how I project the ladies
SCSU vs. A&T - Wednesday Howard vs. A&T - Friday Hampton vs. A&T - Saturday Championship
The bonus is that the womens championship game will be played after the men. Smart move by the MEAC.

Aggies will arrive early enough for the mens game and stay over until ours start. Last year there were about 5,000 Aggies in attendance for the Ladies Championship so I don't really care if fans of other schools don't stay to watch. It'll give us more of a homecourt advantage.

That is a blatant, but smart move on the tournaments part knowing that we have a championship women's team and the tournament is next door to Greensboro. If the men were a 1 or 2 seed position right now they would not have made that change.

I think ESPNU help make the change

The CIAA championship was done the same way. It worked pretty well. I'd say not even half the crowd left after the mens championship.

"seemingly", it does appear that the move was made with the anticipation that the lady aggies will make it to the championship game. and that's what bothers me, a little. i just don't like the idea of counting the chickens before they hatch. its like a jinx waiting to happen...

The nomadic MEAC has to have a glimmer of hope for some success. Hopefully, the lady AGGIES can provide it.

Man, I'm ready! I heard that the weather will be nice in the Triad until Sat. I may even bring my congas with me to hit the park before the dinner break on a given day. For some reason I remember the bottom falling out with a downpour one of the past years.
Its here, its time to show & prove. I know that this is old, but we 'beat the man, who beat the man'. lol (SCSU- Morgan). Nah, I just want to see T Alston take over from the jump. Was it Howard that he was taking his man at will? I forgot. Maybe not, because I believe we fell behind early in Corbett. In any case it here...ball or go home!
The Women must take it easy on my heart and roll to big leads. We must push them to the end! They cannot lose! I hope to see some of you guys.
Lastly, its so good to see the Aggies come in the house and take over.

The Ladies have to pull out all the stops and put up impressive wins in the tournament. There will be at least one other upset in the conference tournaments around the nation. If that happens and the Ladies win out impressively, they may get another 14 seed, 15 at worst. It's all about these next three wins!

Combine that with some wet weather in the forecast over the next two days and attendance will get really ugly.
