Great job today! You kept the broadcast lively despite what was happening on the field. I enjoyed it. community.meacfans.com/eve/forums/a/tpc/f/5501054881/m/4981056782/p/11Quote from a FAMU fan on meacfans.com: "I've been listening all game and these two announcers are the best in the MEAC if not all of college football. A minutes ago they were cracking on our offensive coordinator about his chain smoking. Said he was next door to them and killing them with his none stop smoking. They said if he smokes that much when FAMU's winning they'd hate to be next to him in a close game. I fell out." Great job again! Maxell P.S. Shout out to "The Machine". They PLAYED today!

The hell they are. Right now, I'm prepared to use to entire power of this website to get them out of the booth next year.
I'm talking on-line petitions, feature stories, meetings with Dee Todd and the new chancellor ... whatever.
The future is now ... and its name is Aggie Mike.

Too bad I probably won't be at A&T anymore when it does...I just dont wanna be one of those terrible announcers they put on Black College games MLK weekend and all that, I wanna be a good black announcer not a former player just rambling (I dont have to worry about the former player part)
The bad part was our broadcast crossed over the scoreboard halfway through so they could hear me say down 21-0 at home, this is a familiar situation for the Aggies...and one of the coaches was pointing to the board like CAN THEY TURN THAT OFF!

AggieMike, Are you a Mass Communications major? Does that department handle the Videocast or who is responsible for that?

I am a student in the department of Journalism and Mass Communication and the broadcast is an entirely student ran operation from the announcers, to the cameramen, to the producers, we're all JOMC with concentrations in broadcast production or electronic media (im electronic media)

Why don't you guess do a weekly radio show or better yet do a weekly coaches show that can run locally on TV 14.

Actually dude, me and you need to get together. Next year I want to produce a weekly radio show on 90.1 called the Blue Death Report. The show will be taped live at a local sports bar (depending on the sponsor), be about 1-hour long and feature live call-ins from our listeners.
The host will be you. Coach Fobbs and/or one of his assistants will be a featured guest each week. The pay for you will be abosultely nothing, except for maybe a few BDF t-shirts.
However, this will be the biggest thing since sliced bread. You'll become a local celebrity and land a gig with ESPN as soon as you graduate.

My son graduated in 2004 with JOMC in electronic media from A&T. They called him ATL on the yard, I think! You know him?
