If he was one of the kids at the Blue and Gold game, I know why, the way all our linebackers where flying to the ball, you will earn anything you get here as a linebacker, the water is cold and deep! LOL

you don't like to lose anyone, but one decommit isn't the end of the world. it happens all the time in every program. as long as there's no mass exodus, no problem, life goes on...

I agree with oleskool, in that his size is attractive, but other than that I won't lose any sleep. Especially to Duquesne!! Lol

personally, i don't know either. i didn't check the list of new recruits for his name. just that, when i saw his rivals page and he didn't have any stars, i figured it wouldn't be a big loss regardless...

He gave his verbal back in late February, came down and saw his comp in the spring, and left town for more playing time. It won't have an impact with all the red shirt kids stepping up who sat out last year. We have 15 guys at LB anyway - plenty deep!

I like the General's philosophy...it's obvious that he feels, you can never have too many linebackers. Rangy athletic linebackers really help you in the area of special teams, especially on punt and kick off coverage. But, I'm sure there are more out there for Lee to pick up.

He was one of just two or three that weren't Rivals 2 stars or better. He probably saw it was gonna be to much competition at linebacker. Can't blame him.

Two more Eagles get scholarships By Will Harris Sports writer Monday, April 26, 2010Two more Northeastern football players have received college scholarships, although one will not be playing football at the next level. Linebacker Terrance White will attend North Carolina A&T on a football scholarship, while defensive lineman Jabari Bryant will be going to UNC-Wilmington to run track. White chose A&T over North Carolina Central and Elizabeth City State, citing two reasons. “I wanted to go out and experience more things and grow up,” White said. “Around here, I could still depend on my parents, I just wanted to be on my own. Plus, my major is going to be something in engineering and that’s a great engineering school. There’s something like three schools in North Carolina that do engineering and that was one of my top choices.”
White is hoping to stay at linebacker, but coaches at A&T have told him a move to strong safety could come in the future.
“I would prefer to play linebacker,” White said.
Northeastern football coach Antonio Moore points to White as a player that made the most out of his abilities.
“I always say, ‘Anybody can play at the next level. Division III, Division II, Division I — there’s somewhere for you to play,’” football coach Antonio Moore said. “(White) was one of the kids that wanted to do it. He came in and made himself a player.”For the rest of the story: www.dailyadvance.com/sports/two-more-eagles-get-scholarships-21388For profile: profiles.berecruited.com/athletes/454108
