Area colleges respond to Haiti earthquake victims Wednesday, January 20, 2010 Staff ReportsGREENSBORO — N.C. A&T faculty, staff and students are organizing a relief effort for earthquake victims in Haiti. Beginning today, the university will collect canned food, bottled water, personal care items and clothing at the Memorial Student Union, Williams Cafeteria, McNair and Murphy halls. Items will be collected daily at these sites and delivered to the Aggie trailer in the Aggie Stadium parking lot. Members of the A&T community and the public can drop items off at the stadium 3:30-6:30 p.m. Donations will also be accepted at the remaining basketball games at Corbett Sports Center.
