I have a cousin who goes to Campbell U., and he was telling how everyone on campus is excited because they have upcoming men's home games against ECU, and VA Tech. So I was just wondering what were some of your thoughts on why we haven't accomplished something like this?

We can't even get UNCG to come to our place.
My guess would be our leaders just aren't good negotiators.
On the other hand, the Lady Aggies are hosting Auburn in a few weeks.

I've always wondered why we don't play UNCG, there is potential to create such a big rivalry there, over time it could become like an local version of UNC/Duke(I know some might get upset about the UNC/Duke reference but just trying to put into context of what I always felt it could become).

If you think about it, you hardly EVER see HBCUs host mid majors like that. I know Hampton hosted George Mason and they beat 'em at home within the last couple of years. And I think Hunter had American come to Corbett, but outside of that, I can't recall a time. I'll tell you this......If I was a coach and saw that YouTube clip before Eaves called me, there's no way in h#ll I go to Corbett and play. lol

BTW: I wonder if Campbell has a marketing deal with ISP?
For some reason that firm has a knack for getting you quality home opponents. Look what they did for UNCG.

Not sure about the marketing deal, but I know they recently opened a brand new arena
