Pete's age works against him, or else he'd be a shoo-in. Webster's age and inability to win work against him. I'd hire Wyatt in a heartbeat, but his heart's in Daytona Beach and I think he's a mite too mouthy for Coach Hayes. Forte: see the age thing above, and combine it with the career losing record.
Morand, you can't knock a brother for trying. Maynor, new coach at WSSU.

Hayes has never liked Shine. You can forget about that one.

I am with Aggie One & Dooms on this one. Maynor.
Think about how much trust Cornnell had in Bill Hayes when he left WSSU with him to come to A&T. Maynor helped Hayes turn the program around and was the first link in that chain. This is the biggest thank you Hayes can give him plus with Hayes guidance Maynor will do just fine.

Maynor is like a son to Hayes. Was Maynor the full time OC at Fayetteville State? If Maynor doesn't get the HC job, look for him to be the OC and associate headcoach with Hayes hiring an older HC to help Maynor get ready to be WSSU headcoach.

i think this hiring tests the integrity of my favorite ever aggie football coach, bill hayes. he recommended dude for our head coaching vacancy a year ago. so i'm interested to see if hayes will take his own advice and hire maynor...
