Coach Bibbs is one of the best coaches A&T has ever had; I rank her beside Bill Hayes. What ever we do never let her go; I what coach Bibbs is doing.

Ahhbigboy, if you had to rank these new recruits who would you say is the top player? From what I've heard, probably Mosley. I haven't heard about all of them though.

I misspoke. Reed is the one I saw last year when I was in Charlotte and she was pretty good. She can do it all. Very good pick up.

Is she a true point guard or more like a 2 guard?

I really don't go in depth like this b/c a lot of people up here think they know so much but........
She's more like a combo guard. She has great handle, and I mean really good. She has a nice stroke too (think Reisha Bulluck). I've seen her create her own shot so Bibbs will have the luxury of playing her at either guard spot.
I really didn't want to get into it, but that brings me to my next point. All of these ladies (with the exception of the Oregon State kid) are what I've heard many coaches call "fillers". That means that because of the depth the program already has at the same positions that Bibbs is losing in the 5 seniors, they can afford to bring in kids that will have more of an impact in the future (kind of like Carolina, which by now, you can tell I'm very familiar with). That's not to slight these kids, I know many up here think I'm super negative all the time, so I want to be clear that I'm not dissing them.
I really don't think any of these kids will be expected to start in front of anyone that is already there, but they will "fill" a void in the future.
Recruiting is a science for the ones gifted in it and that is why I am so big on giving the assistants their just credit. That's why I've shouted out Murray before, because he obviously learned/is learning well. That's not to take anything away from Bibbs, I'm just saying.
I really don't get too technical on message boards Thrilla, but Reed is legit. I actually was there with a couple of coaches at that game last year and she was talked about a lot. They weren't even there to see her!

Good info.
I personally would like to find some more stuff on DeAndra Davis. I think she could be a starter from day one, based on her athleticism and rebounding ability.

I don't know much about Deandra Davis but I did some research on her this morning (as I often due in case oldeschool decides to attack, lol).
Everybody is saying that she has extremely good size and athleticism but there are a couple of questionable (I wouldn't say "red") flags. This will give you guys some insight on why I seem to be more pessimistic than not sometimes.
On her signing day, the article stated that VCU, FIU, Central Florida, and Alambama state were here final choice of schools which means that she's probably missing a little something. Most of the times, the big boys (she's in SEC, ACC country) only back off because of a couple of reasons. First would be development. Those coaches need to win NOW and aren't willing to put more than year into a kid's development. And next is Grades and that is obviously out of the question if we're taking her. That would lead me to believe that there must be development issues.
I'm willing to bet she probably has a load of potential but lacks the feel for the game to be an effective wing player. Judging from her stats and matching it with her athleticism, she probably played the 4 in high school (notice her rebounding average). She skipped over a lot of basketball powers to get on a plane from Florida to NC. lol And never forget, if she was even on the radar for the big schools (meaning she got an interest letter or a courtesy call), she would, at the very least, would have to have manageable talent OR size worth taking a risk on.
Two of the best lady basketball players in our history (BTj and Amber), were fully developed and had crazy skills WHEN THEY ARRIVED and that is what truly gave us the last 2 years! So far, I haven't seen that.
That's about as much as I can take out of the info provided on Davis though.

Man, that's a lot of deductive reasoning you're doing there. LOL
I still would like to see some real info on her. I was pretty impressed by her highlight video.
